I ordered the two eyeshadow quads and 219 brush from macy's and it was shipped today. But I ordered kyy, dg and rh + 2 blushes from nordstrom and just got confirmation email, but not shipping email yet. Even though I ordered from nordstrom at 5:40 am yesterday and from macy's at 6:20.

Do airport MAC shops get collections same day as other stores? Maybe if people miss other in store and online launches they can try airport MAC shops, I know JFK, Heathrow & Stansted have them and I'm sure other airports do as well, those might not sell as fast as some people might not think to look there.

Totally agree Starlight---even prior to this, Nordies has been having computer issues that they failed to properly address. How about I had my nieces name in my acctcalled for my sister.. they didn't say it's fine. they said that it's not official until it is boxed to ship and you are charged fully. she said the money in the account is just pending for now. she also said that with launches they go in order so it takes some time and you can get a cancellation up to 3 days after. her order was 2:31 PST
i don't buy from them because of this. they screwed me once during heavenly creatures. got a cancellation 2 days after which was after store launch so i missed out. ended up finding the product on a restock but never bought from them after that. (for MAC launches) they are awesome for everything else. i just dont think they can handle the launches
demographic info because I had sent her gifts. Easy-peezy---when you want to send subsequent gifts you select the name & address. Out of the blue, Nordies starts
sending MY orders to my niece and confirmation emails and requests to review products to me, using my niece's name. They narrowly intercepted a package that
should have come to me while enroute to my niece. When I called about it for the 10th time their solution was for me to delete all names & addresses from my acct.,
including my own two addresses in other states that we actively use! Make your damn computer systems work Nordies. Just make it work instead of using ineffective
bandaid approaches. I was not too surprised when so many people had missing account info yesterday---they have some major issues right now.

I suppose it's possible, but I doubt the markup would be that high and it's still better than paying eBay or IG re-sellers insane prices. I have only ever browsed in the airport stores at those airports while on layovers so I can't say for sure how much if at all they may be marked up.
