Sounds like she wasn't really listening, :(
Definitely could help you out, tell me a bit about your skin, dry, oily, combo?
Aside from anti aging, do u have any other skin concerns?
And do u have sensitive skin?

:)
Mostly dry, but sometimes my nose can get a little bit oily as the day goes on. The rest of my face is a desert.

As far as other concerns, my skin texture is not smooth at all. I tend to have rough patches mostly on my cheeks, but also on my forehead.

My skin can be a little reactive and I have some problems with redness, so I guess it's sensitive.

Hopefully this is enough info. Thanks again! :)

Dying to try them, I wonder if sephora will carry these shades eventually, we have been told no so far :/
They are already up on the sephora site. They have been for a few days. That's why I was asking lol, was hoping others already ordered/tried them :D

Anyone hear about a VIB Rouge Event for August? The last two times I've been in store they've mentioned it to me.

I don't work for Sephora but being close to your age I think a good and gentle exfoliator helps and of course sun screen! I really love the fresh Brown Sugar exfoliant. Its so pricey, but it lasts a while and its so incredibly moisturizing. I love it. HG status.
I'll check that out! I've been using my Clarisonic and sometimes Aveda Tourmaline Charged Exfoliating Cleanser, which I can't decide if I like or not. I'll check out the fresh one!

I want to try the Marc Jacobs pop lip products too but I've never done an online order and I'm unsure of duties/time to get here. Plus I'm wondering if I should wait for swatches. I want Melted Fig from Too Faced as well (it'd be my first melted lippie but I tried the ruby one today in store and liked it). I called in store and asked if they have the new colours and someone told me yes, when I went in today zero, zilch, nada!

That sounds like my skin! So sometimes the oily area can just be a dehydrated area, and the skin is just trying to compensate so it creates oils. You want to make sure you are using a night mask, I would try the Camu Camu by Peter Thomas Roth or the Thirstymud by Glamglow, Dr Jart's water mask is good too, or Boscia's sleeping mask. (my favorite is peter thomas roth, it has brightening properties which are awesome for dry skin because it tends to look duller if it's dry). I also suggest you add a serum to your skincare, my face used to be like a desert, but I incorporated the Vitamin C Collagen Booster Serum by Ole Henriksen. It helps with anti aging, brightening and hydrating the skin, I cannot live without it. In addition to this, as a regular moisturizer you can try the sheer transformation by Ole, or stay with the "orange line" and use that moisturizer that comes with the Collagen Booster Serum, there is a set for you to try that includes the eye cream that is pretty good. They also have a small version, it's like 22.50 for tiny jars for you to try it out if you want to try them for like two weeks it's perfect.

My skin is very sensitive so I definitely recommend these products for sensitive skin, they never caused me any irritation at all. The only one I don't love is the Boscia sleeping mask, but that's because of the scent, it smells like flowers almost, too strong for me. Ole Henriksen's products smell like vitamin C, super pleasant :) oranges baby!

I hope that helps :) and sorry I took a day or two to answer, life has been cray! U can always PM me if u need help with anything else too ^_^

That's my favorite moisturizer ever, I got my boyfriend into it, and my mom! lol
What don't u like about it? it's not working for u? :(
I'm really curious about this line, especially the moisturizer. I've read really good reviews about it. Do you really really love it? How does it feel on your skin - light weight?

Yea it's pretty good, glycerin in it makes it absorb and feel super moisturizing but more lightweight. Think of it like a sip of water for ur skin, fresh and not heavy, just right.
It absorbs right in, and my skin doesn't feel dry anymore, I do love it!

I loooooove Sephora. They have a great return policy (though I've never needed to use it), plus free shipping on orders over $50. I do have a local Sephora but it's kind of small, in JC Penney's, so I buy online for the most part. There's a big Sephora two towns away that I've considered visiting, but I'm just too lazy to make the drive

I recently purchased the Sephora Favorites bag last month. It contained travel sized items and I pretty much love everything that was in the bag. Several of the products I use daily (the UD setting spray, the Nars bronzer and the Marc Jacobs mascara).

Hi ladies, I'm looking for a liquid foundation rec for darker skins (i.e. they actually have shades that match). I have dry skin. I use Givenchy teint couture but it's not enough coverage at the moment.

I really wanted to try Armani Luminous Silk since it's HG for soooo many people but I'm in between shades (8 and 8.5, they don't make the .25 shades in darker colors of course..). Such a bummer!!! Anything else I can get from Sephora?

Have you tried Nars sheer glow? i LOVE luminous silk it sucks that they dont make a shade that matches you. Nars is my top favorite tho, its not "sheer" at all it gives pretty good coverage and has a lovely finish. I'm dry as well

I cosign wholeheartedly to this. I use NARS sheer glow. It has the best match for me. My second recommendation would be MUFE HD Foundations. They usually have a match for just about everyone.

If you need good coverage, I suggest Becca, great coverage and has a huge foundation color range! Check that one out!

Estee Lauder Double Wear has a lot of shades and the coverage is amazing. My HG foundation.

For sure a fuller coverage foundation, but what I have noticed is it attracts alot of dirt.
but it is a beautiful coverage and I loved it.
When you say attracts a lot of dirt do you mean that it doesn't dry all the way down? It remains tacky?

No it dries matte for me.
But when I take it off, I notice not just the color of the foundation but dirt comes with it. Which has never happened with any other foundation.
It is hard to explain.

That sounds weird... I had a foundation that almost turned a grey color on me, it was a BB cream actually. It kind of looked like dirt lol.
