I just got back from Sephora and spent almost $50 on nail polish (ridiculous). I got a gift and I picked up a Marc Jacobs lipstick/lipgloss set for 1000 points. You also get a cute little tote to put all of that in instead of the black Sephora bag. The bag of gifts actually has some things I'm interested in. Among them are a MUFE cream blush sample in #410 (coral) and Benefit's Watt's Up highlighter. I'm actually excited about the MJ set. I've said before I'm not a fan of his personally so I never bothered to do anything more than swatch his stuff but I said why not do something with these points. The gloss is #316 and the lipstick is #146. They're lovely and I hate it because that will make me take a closer look at the lipsticks and spend more money. Off topic: I removed my crystal nails because I'm entirely too...lazy? to go every 2 weeks and have my nails done. I mean, I learned to do my own hair so I wouldn't have to go to the salon. I don't like people that close to me I guess is a better way of saying it. My nails have always been weak. They grow fast and the minute I don't have polish to harden them, they break. I used the Sephora brand nail hardener last week and the few nails I had left after removing the fake ones have split. Why???? Well, now I'm giving Deborah Lippmann a spin and hoping it'll save me since her other nail products are pretty great. Here's pics of the Sephora sample stuff, MJ set and bag.

I just got the hard rock nail hardener and lullaby of broadway by deborah lippmann. Lullaby is a new shade from the New York collection. Sephora describes it as 'bashful blush bauble'. That sounds like nonsense to me. To my eye it's like a rose gold almost. Really pretty.

Yeah. I used to buy DL all the time, but I've moved over to Zoya. Still, DL comes out with some nice colors.

I haven't bought DL since mermaid's dream! Well I did purchase the nordstrom anniversary set and ended up returning it bc the colors did nothing for me once I tried them on.

I love her polish. Deborah, you're my sorority sister(Alpha Phi!) and I'm all about supporting a sister, but I didn't like her Nordies set either I recently ordered online.

That's the only one I know of but I didn't think it had anything in it called Candlelight so I was hoping there was something new out. B/c I need more highlighters like a hole in my head! ::
