sooooooooo..... I caved in and got Anna too. I have Anna and Greta now. I think when my next paycheck gets here I'll get Janet and Juliette... It's so hard to wait that long... I think I only "need" about ten of these though, since some of them are similar. And some colors I don't wear that often. idk though, gotta keep money in the bank for random MAC LE crap.... (or groceries? Nah)

I love your swatches! Which one(s) so far would you say are absolute must haves?

I'm a broke student and I can only narrow down to 2. Right now I'm leaning towards Anita and Annabelle. (They haven't been released in the UK yet so my mind might change completely when I see them all in person).

I went to Barneys and picked up Dominique and Vivien yesterday. I was so excited to try the exclusive shades and they were incredibly smooth, pigmented, and ugh, I just love them! It's pretty funny that I ended up with Vivien despite returning Givenchy's Violine Précieux. I guess that touch of coolness is what I was looking for? I'll just keep telling myself that...

He also managed to turn that amazing lavender into this awkward brown thing by sculpting my lips with a chocolate brown eyeliner (Mambo) and topping it with a golden nude gloss (Striptease).

I don't own any of those three shades but based on swatches I've seen from others, it seems to be quite unique! Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Those are 2 great choices^^. I don't have Anita but it is really pretty. I adore Annabella! I would say get a neutral & a happy brighter shade in tones that you personally love.

For me, my favorites are Carmen, Anna, Kelly & Annabella & Barbara

Dominique is so great on you! What's your skin tone? I want so bad for Dominique to work for me, but I'm very unsure!

Well, the Nars lipsticks last on the lips over twice as long than a lot of $16 lipsticks. Once swipe coverage too.

Yup. Staying power, coverage, great formula that leaves your lips feeling healthy and the finish is the bomb. Different strokes for different folks. I want to mention in the pic of me wearing Anna I blotted it. I wanted it to look barely there. The color is still true, but it's just not the coverage I would usually go with.

Oh I KNOW, these are NOT cheap lipsticks. It's bad enough with MAC, they always have LE collections that sell out in no time so I have no choice but to buy all the lipsticks at once. Then I only like half of them... But I'm so scared of missing out... I should really try to branch out to other brands, I'm pretty sure that's intentional with MAC, ensnare us with fear and then we have no money left for NARS. I already ordered Greta, I think I'm gna order Natalie and ONE of the nudes or mauves. Anna? Barbara? Raquel? One of them...But I can wait, I don't have to stay up all night refreshing the computer to see if they've sold out lol

lol Devious! I really am not crazy about the LE pressure. I got my one or two items from Proenza Schouler, Alluring Aquatic and Pedro Lourenco and am hoping Rocky Horror might be my last MAC collection this year. I just want a lipstick from that. After much deliberation I decided that I'll get Barbara and Jane. I was going to wait for the next Sephora sale but I have other plans for that time of year. Fingers crossed.
