Is anyone planning their VIB sale purchases yet?  I've had a list a mile long for a week now.  Just waiting for November!

My cart is loaded and ready to go.. I cringe at the fact that it's just over $500 just for the essentials lol nothing new and fun!! It's also fun as a Canadian to switch the American cart just to see how much more we pay *double cringe* Looks like another year of Rouge as much as I tried not to lol Addicted FOR SURE.

I definitely have a list. Nothing too big though.  I am not into skin care at the moment b/c I'm using some stuff my doc prescribed, and I'm not allowed to use scrubs/exfoliators.  But I guess I can look into masks and serums.  Oh and what do you all like as far as eye creams and serums.  I know nothing is going to cure dark circles, but I just need to keep the area moisturized.  

I use the alterna complete eye balm. It helps keep the area moisturized, which in turn helps the darkness some.

I got the bronze one, I was looking at the pink one, but I'm around NC30. I figured the bronze one would look best.
I do wanna try it though... maybe I will head over the mall during the week to check them out in person.
My bronze should b here in 2 days

I would imagine it would work just fine on NC30!

it is foundation, but it is sheer enough to use as a finishing powder. I sometimes use it alone with concealer, but I mostly use it to finish my makeup and set it. . My friend always comments when I wear it. "Oh you're wearing that powder, your skin looks so good." I have been wearing that with Lancome Tiente Idole.


Oh and in my original post, I meant to say it doesn't keep the oiliness away all day, but I don't think anything is full proof for me. But I don't get the oil slick that I usually get. I wish I could remember what I wore last Thanksgiving b/c my Grandmother was like, why are you sweating? LOL It wasn't sweat. I happened to see this right when Sephora gave us the $10 of $25 coupon. It made the price a little easier to bear.

How do you think the Marc Jacobs powder compares to the NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder. Also, you just reminded me I have one of the MJ powder foundations in Cocoa. I don't wear it because it's a little too dark for the center of my face. I need to get the Fawn Cocoa.

Yeah, Cocoa is too dark for you. I'm using the Fawn Cocoa, and bought it in the winter. I think it was ok this Summer. I didn't get as dark as I normally do.
I have to be honest, I don't use the NLRSP that much. So I don't remember. I did my makeup this am, and it's lunch time and I'm oily in the tzone. Bllotting helps that, but I'd be willing to bet it isn't as nice as the Nars LRSP. I'll try it tomorrow to compare.

What are you using for eye cream these days?

I'm still surprised vice is still around. Everyone is probably waiting for the sale. I don't remember when it sold out.

Apparently I'm on a mascara kick as I also got the Lash Stash ordered by my bf earlier this month or late last month as a part xmas present.

I just find them so much better than buying full size -- I get to try things out and find what I like rather than paying a fortune every time I want a new one!

Only downside to this order is that the Estee Lauder and Buxom items weren't willing to ship to the UK, so I had to send it to a forwarding company. The shipping is going to cost me more and probably a ton in import taxes, but it'll be worth it.

They're all items for me - Mom paid though as they're for Xmas, so I won't even get to see or play with these beauties until then.

Bright side -- I have quite a few make-up items to open for Xmas and I'm more than excited about it!

As I recall, both Vice and Vice 2 were available after Christmas. Ocho Loco 2 didn't sell out until the spring.

Don't remember when it sold out but I don't think it's gonna go that quickly this time around for some reason. UD has their f&f going on right now also. Of topic a bit but looking for a new powder, MissTT im trying to remember, you are nc44-45ish right? I really want to try the new Nars luminous powder foundation. Have you got a chance to play with the shades yet?

Like you, one of my co-workers mentioned she didn't think Vice3 was gonna sell out as quickly. It's not a must have, but I don't want skipper's remorse like I had last year. I want to get it as cheaply as possible though.
And yes I'm NC44-45. I have not had the chance to try the new NARS powder yet. I've heard it is wonderful. Syracuse or Tahoe would work for you in that range. Tahoe is actually more yellow and looks a smidge lighter in swatches than Syracuse which is more brown/chocolaty and appears deeper. I'd probably go for Tahoe and use bronzer on my perimeter if it was ashy.
