I use my damp beauty blender (the black one) and it really makes it look perfect. I tried it with my sigma f80 that i dampened with fix plus first and it was nice but I definitely prefer it with a beauty blender!

Also - how does the Tarte blush palette perform? I don't know if I was sold on Temptalia's swatches of it, and I've already bought the Benefit blush palette and plan to buy the Hourgalss one too ... do I need three blush palettes? I'm still so drawn to it!

Um…no. But you already know that. Are the shades very different from what you already own? Many of us keep buying the same colours over and over because we're drawn to them only to find out that we've added yet another dupe to our stash.If anyone has a spare F&F code they wouldn't mind sharing, I'd really appreciate your generosity!

I'm trying to figure out what I want to buy during the F&F sale and what can wait for the VIB sale. I think I might buy perfume this sale. Does anyone have Tom Ford Velvet Orchid and Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black? If so, do you think they smell similar? If anyone else has an opinion, please feel free to chime in.

I was so excited to come in this thread and tell about my find today but now with all the F&F code talk, it doesn't seem so exciting anymore.
Well, I was disappointed in the Hourglass Blush palette I bought online when it was released. The middle color was way too light (mostly all highlighter). I've been looking in B&M Sephoras for a while but nothing. Well, today was the day. The same store I went into last week had it. The first one I opened up looked really good but I had to check another to be sure. Nope the 2nd one was all highlighter. So I went with the first one. Then I went into Barney's and stopped at the Hourglass counter because the SA that I bought the Chanel star palette (yippee) left it there with a trusted co-worker instead of at the Chanel counter. Well an SA there was photographing the blush palette (so weird - is she secretly a blogger??) so Barney's has it too. Actually, both stores had really good ones on display.
The only thing is now I'm wondering about Mood Exposure. I'm afraid I didn't even try that color in the palette I had since I was mostly interested in the other 2 so I hope I got a good one in the new palette. I'll have to check later as I'm tired out. Too much shopping today.

Thanks! I'm going to try that. The Dior blender is very firm and I don't think you are even suppose to dampen it because it doesn't expand like the beauty blender. I sometimes feel it makes the star look cakey when applied with dior blender.

I love Nirvana Black but I find it wears off my skin within 5 hours, whereas the Tom Ford scents I've tried wear waaaay longer than that. Also, one of the perfume samplers from Sephora Favorites has both those scents in it, so you could grab that then redeem the scent card for whichever you find you prefer. that's very strange, star never looks cakey when I do it with the beauty blender! hope it works out for you!!

Thanks! Unfortunately, TF Velvet Orchid is not part of the sampler. That means that I can't use the certificate on it, right? If so, I may pick it up for ,h daughter

I received a sample card of TF Velvet Orchid in a package at work. My coworkers and I smelled it and most people were not fans. I receive a lot of compliments when I wear Nirvana Black. Just my input.

I'm dying for a F&F code. I live 250 miles from any Sephora, but when I'm near one, I always make a point to go. I buy so much through their website. I wish F&F meant the same to Sephora as it does to every other company, and they would just email out codes.

Really want the velvet lip pencil set!I did laugh with the lady in the fraud dept. because I said, seriously you would know its fraud because thats not the way I shop - its 62 CENTS :lol: So, I explain to her that I am in the process of an order I NEED to make because I have a special code & product may sell out

Thanks! I smelled VO at a sephora store and loved it. I got th VO sample card too and can't stop smelling it. Lol. I'll run it on my clothes tomorrow and see wha sort of responses that I get. Oh...I'm the only person who does that?
