Also, does anyone have any experience with Bare Minerals foundation vs MAC Studio Fix Powder? I bought the BM not too long ago as a "quick" alternative to my liquid foundation but I'm not 100% happy with the colour match/finish. It could just be because it's a powder and powders are powdery, though. Not sure what the MAC compact is like? I've been a loyal Sephora devotee for the last decade, MAC is like a whole new world to me!
The spring blush météorites just came out. Sephora doesn't have them but a few of the dept stores do.

I love the Chanel & MAC minis for my lower lashes only.  I've amassed at least 10 of the MAC minis since November.  They were one of the sample selections at Nordies.
I have a Lancome mini I got for some points at Sephora and a full tube of Lancome from that incident where they had to win back my love, if you recall. I went to return the Glamglow cleanser today because it made my face swell up like an overcooked sausage. The Pantone display caught my eye and on impulse I bought the lipstick. I think some of you ladies said you weren't impressed? I'm glad to say I love it. It's a bit deeper than I was expecting, but it's totally the kind of shade I'm into now. It's pretty natural and surprisingly pigmented. That blush trio was kinda weak. The highlighter was pretty, but the medium shade seems too light and the darkest too powdery. Shame.

Whew - thanks for mentioning this. I was thinking about hunting down the blush trio today. You saved me from it.

The occ pencil set is only $22 now plus the 20% off what a deal I already own the set but I actually grabbed another since I love the one I have so much. The white lip pencil is amazing it makes my lip colors so vibrant, I put it on under Gunner from the nasty gal collection and it turned it into the most beautiful vibrant blue purple shade.
Yay! Thanks, I just ordered it

Oh yeah....I remember

OMG...You have some serious allergy issues. Were you able to isolate/ID the offending agent in the GG
cleanser? That's pretty scary Shontay!!!

I have the lipstick but I've not yet opened it. I was putting it off but now I'm intrigued. I'm glad you love it.
I feel better about it now because I've liked many products that you've forced on me endorsed. I wasn't
interested in any of the other items.

   I was bound to get another hit at some point! I'm back in the game, baby. I bet you'll love that lipstick. I'm not trying to look like one of those Kartrashian chicks, but that's a great trend that little kicked off. I can't get enough of it. I have no idea what's in GG that made my skin go nuts. I was looking at the ingredients and the one thing I know I'm allergic to wasn't in there. This was way worse than that. It was scary. I thought I was losing it. I had to look at pictures of myself to make sure my face wasn't really supposed to be like that. I already have hereditary bags under my eyes, but it looked insane. I could feel my eyes closed up a little because it was so puffy and I had these deep lines in them and all around my eyes. Hello, cryptkeeper. I'm not dipping my toes in high end skincare again. I took my behind right on over to Lush and got my good old cleanser that I've been using for a year w/ no problems. Sometimes ya gotta know when to stop.

Hahaha I can totally sympathize with the family-thinking-you-have-everything thing. They really don't get it! I just stopped talking about makeup to my boyfriend altogether. Not worth the eyerolls, or the patronizing looks I get from my mother. My sister believes I couldn't possibly keep track of my stash so she thinks I won't notice when she "borrows" things. She got a tube of Benefit Porefessional for Christmas, y'all. :busted: ohhh family. However! I did get a gift card to Sephora from my mom (you go girl!) And I'm now debating between picking up a few basics I need (Nars concealer, ABH brow highlighter) or the Guerlain Meteorites I've been lusting over for the last year. I haven't been able to bring myself to pull the trigger yet but I'm thinking a gift card should be used for frivolities, right? RIGHT!? I just ordered this Tarte palette from the Sale section and I'm in love. The reviews aren't so hot but the colours are exactly what I've been wanting in one palette for travel/summer so I'm hoping I'm the odd one out. HOW GORG IS THIS!? I also picked up the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction set for my baby sis who is a huge fan of the film. I may have bypassed the sale discount for the Fresh lip trio promo. WHO DOES THAT. UGH. neiman marcus online has the LE holiday ballz still! I know your GC is for sephora but the holiday metorites are amazing plus once they are gone they are gone forever!!

There's a ton on EBay, BNIB. Some are even reasonably priced, at the same retail rate.

there are sooo many different shades in BM that it's actually ridiculous - did you get the loose or pressed? the loose especially has a crazy shade range, but it's totally possible you just got matched incorrectly. i love MAC but prefer the sheer pressed powder to studio fix, just because if i keep the sponge on top of the powder in the studio fix compact it created weird little hard bits in the powder. i went back, assuming it was something wrong with the powder, and the SA at MAC told me it was just the oil in my face (and thus in the sponge) reacting with the powder. strange bc i'm super oily but have never had that with another powder. if you're after coverage, maybe try a different shade in BM? or stila has a really nice/decent powder.

I looked at the holiday Meteorites, they are so pretty! The description said it was best for evening light though so I'm leaning towards the regular pearls in Clair 02. Does 03 give off a warmer glow? I'm new to these! Oh, and the Meteorites don't have any sparkle, do they? Shimmer is OK but glitter is a no-no! On another note, I got sucked into the Neiman Marcus website after I saw that they carry Napolean (a brand I used to love). Good thing they don't ship to Canada! And speaking of shipping to Canada, does anyone know how long Sephora typically takes to ship cross-border? I'm in the Toronto area.

Oh that's crazy! I've never heard of that happening with a compact, but I suppose it does make sense. How is coverage with a brush? I would most likely not even use the sponge anyways. I got the original loose powder BM foundation, I used to love it years ago and had a perfect match, but my skin is a lot lighter now than it was and matching colours has been a real hassle. The salesgirl I spoke to at Sephora insisted I had the right colour, but I'm not convinced. The girl at MAC matched me perfectly with NW22 so I was sold on that alone. Just not sure on the texture/coverage/performance front since she only did a small patch as a test. Can you all tell I have no one to talk to about makeup? Lol all my posts are super long!

I've tried the black GG and it made my skin turn red and burn. Never doing that again.
The black one burned me so bad, never using that one again.
The boscia black one hurt me too, my eyes wouldn't stop crying lmao... try to remove goo before it dries.. impossible DX

I do LOVE the white and the green glamglows, those are my favorite masks ever.

I ordered that bare minerals set with the brush and the pressed mineral veil today. I am excited, I don't have much from Bare minerals but I do like their brushes. So that seemed like a great value with the sale on top of the sale :D

I spent my gift card, I got the OCC set on sale, the bare minerals set, and then I ordered the MUFE 3C lip pencil that had been out of stock forever, and the KVD foundation.
I started watching a Spanish youtube girl and damn it looks good on her, so I decided to try it. I had a sample (it was a few shades too light) but I still liked how it looked, so I'm excited for that.

I debated getting a palette, but gosh I'm drowning in palettes DX
