Since this thread is full of raves, I was really surprised to check MakeupAlley and see only a few reviews for these lippies and they were mostly meh.
The $5 off code they gave me was already expired when I signed up (I signed up for their newsletter after the new year and the code was labelled as expiring on the 31st of December) so I messaged them to see if I could get a valid one since shipping to Canada appears to be FIFTEEN DOLLARS (I consider that excessive). That was the 5th and they never answered.
The code still seems to be working, though, so I guess they never deactivated it.
Has anyone swatched the darker colours together? Ellaire, Creature, Leather, Grind, Bichette, etc. I really wish they had some well-lit, comprehensive comparative swatches on the site.

I heard about this brand when they first started and I STILL haven't tried them! I've really been wanting some of their weirder colored lippie stix. The black and brown are calling to me along with their green. Although I'm worried the green is a little similar to one of the NYX Wicked Lippies I own. But if they come out with blushes oh man I'm gonna have to finally place that order!

I am getting soooooo sick of the witch hunts in those communities. I've almost stopped going on reddit for makeup and just exclusively come here because every time I go in, I end up pissed off.
They make good, cheap products. Who the f*** cares about how they are backed as long as the ingredients and everything are accurate? SMFH.

There needs to be an eye brow raise emoji... Everything is incorporated or corporate owned and if its not, its going to be. Like you said, they make great products at great prices. No one is holding a gun to their heads to purchase those products. If they're not okay with it they can just not buy it.

TOTALLY AGREE. i'm really happy with colourpop as they have proven themselves to me as a company a few times. i have emailed customer service a few times with various things (mostly CAN YOU CANCEL MY ORDER SO I CAN REORDER and I had one item come out of the base during shipping), and they've answered me in 24h tops. I think they are owned by a startup or something (not totally sure how that works, so if i sound ridiculous, whatever).
i rarely go anywhere but specktra and instagram for makeup conversation. reddit seems to have really bad pack mentality- mention velvetines or anything positive about lime crime, and they will all tell you that doe deere murdered their families or something. we are all aware of whatever at this point, but move on with your lives, please.
i really like colourpop's products, price, and aesthetic. i appreciate the fact that items are not sold out every 5 minutes and that i have the opportunity to order 'limited' items, instead of having to camp out and still not even get whatever it is. there is a reason they have grown exponentially over the course of less than a year, and it isn't the illuminati. there is a reason temptalia (who isn't the end all be all, but a fairly critical blogger at the least) gave these products high ratings.

I completely agree with you. The price is great, I had to pay $15 shipping to Canada and on my last order $30 in duties and each lipstick came out to roughly $8 each which I think is still a fair price for these. As far as their lippiestix and liners, the price is good, the packaging is sleek and nice, smells good, comfortable to wear and good pigmentation. All good points in my books. Plus like you said things aren't constantly sold out and you don't have to stalk for LE stuff. I think they're pretty fabulous. I sure hope they are putting out blushes (seems as though they may be). My money will be flying away!
