I don't think I'm going to IMATS NYC this year. I think I'm going to the MAKEUP SHOW instead.

I picked the new Stila Nouveau Natural Eye Shadow Palette. I'm actually digging it. It's much better than the Windows palettes. I actually have Eyes are the Window to the Mind palette. The one that's all mattes. It's ok. Just ok. I would have rathered the Viseart Matte palette but the Mind was a gift. Anyone else have The Nouveau palette? I think I'm getting the Tartlette one next.

I don't have it but it definitely looks nice. The Tartelette palette is calling my name still. I may have to cave and get it like... today. There is a blizzard. I deserve a treat!

Ah okay. Does Beautylish do a booth at the Makeup Show? Hopefully you're able to find one or the other cleansers. I'm going to try that Embryolisse lotion you said you like.

They sell it at Ricky's but it's $32. I really hope you like it!

that's good to hear, I was curious about that palette but the windows palettes were so bad imo that I didn't want to even try anything else lol

get the Tarteletteeee

edit: there's a deal on QVC and it comes with a brush, it's a little cheaper. Don't forget ebates

Thanks! I didn't realise Ricky's carries it as well. I'm hoping to pick it up at IMATS. Embryolisse has a booth so I want to grab the lotion and the lait-creme concentre. I've heard good things about that too.

I quite like the look of the tartlette and may pick it up soon. Have you seen the new Viseart palette with the bright colours? It is so pretty (if you're into brights).

I did not like the IT palette. Beautiful colors, but blended into mud on my eyes and just looked bad in general. I gave mine away. But I love my tarte one :love:

I was in love with the Embryolisse Micellar Lotion. I loved this stuff. I got it at IMATS NYC a few years ago. I purchased it because Bioderma was difficult for me to get my hands on. The only reason I'm still not using this to remove make up is the price. It's hard to find a 8.5 oz bottle under $30. I got it for $10 at IMATS. I wish I knew I was going to like it as much I would have bought back ups! Currently using Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water. It's almost as good and it serves as a decent dupe. I'm on the list with Beautylish to get a notice when they start selling Bioderma. I love cleaning waters for makeup removal. Best thing if you have sensitve eyes. Sephora has a cleansing water also, however I didn't like that one because of the fragrance.

It won't be very soon. Beautylish did have it available at IMATS LA and will be at NYC, but it'll be available on their website in February. You can join the email list to be notified when it launches.

Thanks, ladies. I may keep it. It's unlike anything I own and I like the smooth application. I also tend to not return things.

So I just discovered the magic of MAC Pro Longwear foundation and in comparison really don't like my current one. I thought I liked it, but the PLW just looks so much better on my skin. Do you think Sephora will let me return it? I bought it December 30th, but no longer have the receipt. You can kind of see the fill line here in this picture (slightly above the word Nude).
