What primer are you guys using for the duo's? I'm not getting great wear with anything. It fades and gets patchy.
I haven't cracked mine open yet, but when I had a makeover, the MUA used TF's own primer. It lasts and lasts using it but ka-ching$$$$. It's a duo for $45--the cream, then the powder, then the eyeshadow.

Some of the Nordstrom reviews are negative too--given the price point probably not surprising.

Noooooooooo! I was super excited for this! Now, not so much. lol. Too sheer for $50. I'm a pigmented lips kind of girl!!
i know on my spring lippies for last white packaging 2014, the caps will not stay on and i find them apart in my bag - drives me nuts! the brown ones do NOT do this.....

ok, i needed to do quick m/u for kids school event, pull out ripe plum to go to town and well nothing appeared on my lid! i looked in 4 mirrors and nada! i felt nuts!

i knew something was off with ripe plum, i did not have a primer on but i did just put cream on my entire face so WTF?

i have yet to read here again so not sure what's going on! i have nude dip and it works dry with no issues at all! but it feels different to me than ripe plum does....

very confused! i have the TF primer so i will try and i need to get a spray bottle and put in water or mac prep + prime mist, does it matter which one i use to wet TF brushes, i don't think alcohol is good for them, i use bobbi brown for spot clean as it has no alcohol, one of the only ones that does not have it + works perfect! i use masters for real clean (from michaels, like $4 w/40% coupon, swoosh it around in round tub and they smell like fresh lemons!)

i'll read here later to catch up hopefully on m/u and not on jesus, shipping or ethics! hah! i cried laughing when @meds posted "and a back up" too funny! can't forget both Mary's now can he!

Two of the lipliners went rather brown, and the other peach. Neither really works well for my coloring. The nude lipsticks had a winner or two in the bunch--the new line of creamy opaques are really, really opaque!  Similar to the vibe of Nars Audacious.  I agree with these it's best to see them in person first.  They hit my local Sephora about 2-3 weeks ago, so they should be around if you get a chance to get to one.
What line/brand are you referring to? I am always interested in great nude ls.

My Ripe Plum arrived today! I'm so glad I didn't skip it, it's so much more beautiful than on all the swatches. I'm a bit surprised about some of the reports here, my duo has great colour payoff and doesn't seem to be patchy or dry???

Anybody that picked up the creme shadow does it crease up badly lots of reviews saying it does honestly that has kept me from buying

It doesn't crease on me at all and I usually have big problems with creasing! I tried it twice, one of the times it was without primer and it lasted over 6 hours before I took my makeup off, I'm sure it would've lasted longer.
