A young 20 something was looking for a bright lippie and I guess the MUA couldn't think of any fast enough, so of course my social hubby stepped in and started making recommendations. She left the store with the lippie, shadow and blush he recommended

I actually had Trendmood minions attack me today. Protip: don't critique a lipstick swatch on a hairy arm as a joke. Instagram people honestly have problems. I got told that I was a terrible person and that people felt sorry for my friends in the real world and that I should worry about being a good person. Funny I run a non-profit for blind children in real life,I'm taking blind kids to fly airplanes next week and to learn about aerospace engineering and how a blind person can work in that field... I'm such a terrible human beingEspecially when "Trendouche" keeps updating her minions not only on release dates but approximate times.
Just reminded me of how much I love Specktra.

I'm sorry you had to be a part of that, people take life too seriously sometimes. It has happen here a few times as well when some of us have dared to make comments about some bloggers but it usually comes from newbies who don't understand the dynamic of the community. It was just weird. As stupid as it was I did get my feelings hurt a bit. How do you judge someone so harshly over an opinion. I have exactly zero followers so I got shredded by this one chick for that too. I guess our value is based on instagram followers. I'm not active at all. I had 2 post one for a contest and one of my couch cushion that I accidentally put up. I've seen girls get catty here but for the most part things are very tame. Instagram just feels like a lions den. Almost every post by popular users is filled with hate filled comments. God forbid you deviate from the hive mind you best be ready to get torn down. I love following celeb makeup artist for looks and tips but I learned my lesson today. I'll use it for looks and I will only comment here, in Facebook secret groups and on Reddit.

I'm not really familiar with this Trendmood person, but I'm getting the gist of what they've been up to, which is really crappy! What I don't get is why don't they just Do the research and legwork like the rest of us and share info that way? I mean how hard is it to live chat with nordstrom and ask about the launch day and time of a collection? Why stalk this forum like a troll and wait to be fed bits of info.
