So mad at myself I set my alarm around the time it would be launched and I shut off the alarm and go back to sleep. SMH damn nyquil. It would've been great if this one of the nights my baby kept me up lol.

All I was able to get was Burmese Kiss. Macys app AND website was giving me such problems. It let me add Summer Opal to my cart, would say-- "in stock" but then would refuse to let me check out! Turns out that ~somehow~ SO was really OOS instead of in stock like it was listed.

Damn. Now I am reminded why I stopped shopping at Mac and started giving my $$$ to brands that keep their LE collections in higher stock so people don't have to scramble. I stayed up this late on the day of my midterm in class because they pushed the launch back. Not to sound too salty, but sorry Mac... you've lost me on LE collections. Too bad they'll never get the memo!

There is always another chance to get the items you wanted from the Bao Bao collection when Mac launches it online tomorrow, or in store (March 5th) :)

These le mac collection launch is starting to look like the sneaker/nike/jordan launch horror. Hope it dont get to the point of the raffle system. And maybe stuff sells out so fast because maybe resellers and others are using bots?

They could limit the quantities that can be ordered per receipt. That would help a lot of people out.

Bad business practices! This was my first stalk session, and it will be my last! I HAD All of this collection in my bag, all I had to do was press submit. But I canceled my order. I am able to get the products easy because of family and friends that work for MAC. I figured I'd give someone else the chance to get it. The only reason I purchased the BP was because a friend really wanted it.

HEAD UP! Certain MAC PRO stores ship to your desired location for an extra fee of 7 dollars. So when it launches in store, and say you can't make it out that day, you can call and order over the phone. I don't know if ALL do this, but my MAC store does.

Keep in mind that not all launches are like this. Yes, Mac LE collections are hard to get your hands on when the hype of the collection is increased, but to be fair, I think Nordstrom is to blame, not so much MAC in this case.

Nordstrom was disgusting with this launch. They Truly did everything wrong.

I'm wondering if Nordie's even knew that their app did that. When I found the items it said they weren't available, but it still let you add it to your wish list. An app shouldn't work that way. I seriously can't understand why they let people order from live chat before it went on sale, though. Weird.
The whole thing with Nordstrom was really weird. When I first started stalking, it took me about an hour to get through to live chat (started out at #115 in line). I bailed when I was #3 in line because I got some things on Macy's--probably longer than an hour in all. So I don't think that the volume from live chat could have been very high because it took so long for anyone to get through to them. Still, I was surprised to find that they were taking live chat orders at all.

The wish list cart thing is strange. I got everything I wanted from Macy's (except the nail polish which I can live without), so thank heavens I didn't need to use Nordstrom for this one. What a mess. I don't think I can count on getting anything MAC LE anymore. It's a good thing I didn't try for Lavender Jade--that would have been hopeless. I think the BP was sold out on Macy's in under 10 minutes, but I'm guessing. Not long. Like other people said, it's a good thing there are so many other amazing things out there--I hope Becca will be the big winner in all this chaos.

I blame them both! MAC because they are Accountable for anything involving the brand. There were countless meetings that took place with their company prior to its launch. They are not a top selling company for no reason. They know that sales will go down if they make things readily available to the consumer. So they keep us on our toes with LE products and misinformation. They have strategies they use to ensure intrigue. For one, like how in the F do you "accidentally" launch a collection last year, and then relaunch it again the following year with so little stock? How do you NOT tell loyal customers that Nordstrom AND Macys will be launching the same night/day? They knew all along what the deal was. They have contracts written up and everything. All this SHHHH is done knowingly by ALL parties involved. Shady business...
