My Mac and Macy's BBW items already shipped, but some cinderella items I added during the Macy's order are still processing I hope they don't get cancelled, but at least I was able to get what I wanted from BBW and it will be here tomorrow!!

Having said that, what's the difference between a BP and an IP ? Summer Opal will be my first BP so not sure what to expect.

BPs are softer to the touch, shimmery or glowy, and depending on the colour/shimmer/glow factor, can be used a s a blush, cheek highlight, or all over the face. IPPPs are harder to the touch, chunkier glitter, and may or may not have colour. They are meant to be used in the face or body, not on the eyes.

Most Bps I can use all over my face (like the Marilyn & Elude one) but I don't think I would do that with the Cinderella one & SO. Too much iridescence & slight shimmer for that. SO will be beautiful dusted over the apples of the cheeks either on naked skin or very lightly over blush & some other highlight areas.

Bps are very finely milled, very soft barely there veiled powders for the skin

My goodies arrived!!!!!!

I can't remember when I was this excited to tear open a box! lol

So I immediately compared Ablaze and BK. It is clear that they are similar and that Ablaze is the inspiration, but I am very happy to say that BK has more pink! MORE PINK @elegant-one and @MissTania! It is definitely still a bright / neon coral, but the subtle pink is definitely there! I actually LOVE it! It's bright and fun---will be great to wear this summer!

I don't think that a swatch comparison really shows the nuances in color difference. Perhaps I will try again later in different light.

Update: Am trying to get some good shots on my new phone and the camera is crap! It is clear though that Ablaze has more of an orange undertone while BK has more of a pink undertone.

I placed an order at 6am yesterday morning with Express Shipping and my order is coming today, but that is just because I ordered so early. I placed another order a bit later on (9am or something) also with Express shipping, and that order has not been shipped yet. No worries though, from past experience, I am confident it will ship this afternoon and be here tomorrow.

Don't worry, Mac Canada is generally on the ball. I would expect that you will get an update later today

I have all of those lipsticks and would say that it is quite different than all of them. It has a really neon brightness too it!

Oh man, the Bps I mentioned - I adore them on!!! I think I bought 5 Marylin

& 2 Elude. I have at last 2 of the BPs from every collection, even the beautiful tiger striped compact from Raquel Welch collection. But I also really love the Cinderella one A LOT! I love the subtlety of them all.
