First time actually ordering from them online for a launch like this. What chaos, not fulfilling orders?
Items are there, then they disappear or are backordered, slow shipping, wrong orders. You're lucky. I'm sure a lot of orders are fine, but people really complain about them a lot.

I got the Free as a butterfly, but it seems basically same as Siren Song on me........is this the case with anyone here?
I may have to return that to Macys.....

Still hasnt launched in Brazil and I can't decide what I want! The eyeshadow palette is absolutely stunning, but I rarely use cool-toned shadows, i am not sure it will suit me!

Omg that is disgusting!!! I mean there are pieces still available in stores and going in and out Of stock online. That is just insanity and I feel really bad for the people who are so invested in the collection that they just Go ahead and pay these greedy people and reinforce their disgusting behavior.
I got lucky during both launches and ended up with all the pieces I wanted except the one I wanted most: Royal Ball. So I did buy that on eBay yesterday, but it was reasonably priced in my opinion and the seller was a sweetheart. But some of these other sellers? They are, just as you said, disgustingly greedy and preying on people who really wanted items and didn't get anything because these sellers bought everything! I feel so bad for them! I read on this thread that in some stores they were limiting people to one of each item. It's too bad that couldn't be done online too so more real fans could have gotten what they wanted. Maybe if MAC does a collection for the new live action Beauty and the Beast movie, they will employ some restrictions.

Yikes about the Macys horror stories. I ordered a few items the first night of the surprise launch and I received the items today, 4 days earlier than the estimated delivery date they gave me. For macys, that happened to be super fast shipping, ESP since I didn't request any special shipping. They certainly are not my favorite place to order from though.

They better don't play! I ordered a Royal Ball for my sis too. She's excited.

I cant believe the craziness over this launch.. Usually it isnt so crazy in Canada... Soo I missed the online launch by an hour.. everything sold out and I was working nights last night so I sent my mom to mac before she went to work this morning.. she told me there was a line up outside mac before it even opened... Any collection launch that Ive ever been to first thing in the am.. this includes marilyn monroe and rihanna... never has there been a line up outside the mac store! :O
in all its craziness I got everything I wanted :) 2 lippies and 2 powders!

My online orders should be arriving early next week. I'll breathe a sigh of relief only after I get my packages and verify everything I ordered is there. After the scare I had with my Bao Bao Wan order that I picked up today, I'm a little anxious.

Okay, can someone check my math please? I added up the fifteen pieces of the Cinderella collection (not including brushes) and it adds up to $339. One seller on eBay is selling all fifteen pieces for $1100. Another is selling fourteen pieces (not sure what she's missing) for $1100. I'll say it again - nuts!!!
They do it every collection.. Total insanity.. I was at Macys today trying to get Bao Bao Lavender Jade lipstick.. and a lady swoops by and asks what they have left from the Cinderella collection.. and how much of each can she buy.. sales clerk says the beauty powders, palette, etc -- and she can buy 2 of each..and she did.. I think it was pretty clear she was a reseller.. but I zipped my lip.

The SA at my MAC counter was using the eyeglass as a highlight along the cheekbones!! Not sure how the tackiness translated but Looked really pretty though!

Is it really that tacky? I remember when people would use the the original clear lipglass on their eyelids! Nothing sounds more tacky than that!

I think you showed more restraint then I could have shown! Is it nasty of me to hope she doesn't make any sales?!? Unless it's to pay for something important like medical treatment or something of course. We should consider that maybe one or two of those sellers do need the money for something important. Most of them it's just greed though.
