MAC X Bao Bao Wan Collection (March 5, 2015)

Did they restock all the lipsticks? I looked around Brooklyn, NY this weekend to see if any store had gotten this collection (to report back if the elusive LJ was to be found) but alas no luck.

Yeah none in Brooklyn, Macy's Herald Sq had the collection and 5th Ave out of the ones I went to. Macy's dwtwn BK didn't get it, I doubt the MAC near me in Atlantic Terminal did, they're miniscule.

Are they doing that on purpose? The most popular product comes back in stock for a second, what did they have, 5? To be a fly on the wall at MAC. I just picture them cracking up at corporate. What happens when stock comes back, they find a few under someone's desk or do they make more?...that I doubt. It always confuses me. I'm glad for those of you who got what you wanted!

It's crazy. I just happened to check at just the right moment. I hoped that more of you who really wanted it would have been able to grab LJ.

I do agree though... what's the point of restocking, like, 5? It's crazy to me that people have to compulsively check in the hopes of "catching" a restock because they go in a blink of an eye. They need more sizeable restocks. Sigh.

Sounds about right. None of these got restocked on the Canadian site.

Me too! I picture us as marionettes and them controlling us! "Let's make them sweat!", "Let's see who's stalking the website!", "Let's make them cry!"...all while controlling our hands to type feverishly on our keyboards and eyes bulge out our heads with excitement.

I'm just thankful here for the lovely specktrettes who keep an eye out, and share this information with us! It saved me from having to cave to an evil reseller for BK since Macys went and effed up my cinderella and BBW order.

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the Brits, got what I wanted from this collection now. Still waiting for an invoice for BK. I'll wait till later on in the evening her time

My Nordstrom package arrived with Burmese Kiss and Forbidden Sunrise. Forbidden Sunrise is stunning and more yellow toned than Sounds Like Noise, the latter is more neutral compared to FB. FB also clashes a little with my skintone which was a bit surprising for me, but I can make it work with a bit of gloss and depending on the blush and a wee bit of bronzer. Burmese Kiss is beautiful, but it's the most dupeable of the four lipsticks. The closest color to Burmese Kiss is Toying Around, the difference between them would be the finish. Ablaze is close to Burmese Kiss, but redder. Watch Me Simmer is lighter, Toxic Tale is more coral, and Party Parrot is more pink-coral-red. I'm a little bummed out about Burmese Kiss because I always fall for this kind of color and now I have a lipstick army of the same kind of color. D:

Missed it by a few minutes. I kept stalking the pages for days until I decided to get lunch. I told myself I'd settle for a dupe if I couldn't find LJ. The problem now is that I'd probably buy all the possible dupes for it, but at least they are affordable.

Omg yes, it's Forbidden Sunrise! I don't know why I keep calling it Forbidden Summer, maybe because where I live it's summer forever 24/7, lol whoops.
