I'm worried that I'll have several palettes turn up at my house or my neighbour's house on Tuesday. Could just sell them all if that happens, just to get the money back. EDIT: EL/MAC are looking for my order, they have taken money out of my account. They have the paypal receipt, but no order

I've found check out quite glitchy the past few times, like id click to pay via PayPal, sign in on paypal page, then it took me back to the checkout again so I had to sign in paypal again, then it said I had to sign into Mac account (even though I already was) before the confirm payment page appeared :/

I actually thought it sold out super fast for a $40 palette with two pretty un-wearable colors.

Yeah, I thought so too. Pastel is not for me... reminds me of the zinc stick SPF trend when I was a kid. However, those were fluorescent colours.

I was hoping that my items wouldn't be sold out because I couldn't order yesterday. They were not
(mostly lipsticks and fluidlines). I think that the palette sold out because it is the most unique thing to both collections (no matter how unwearable it might be for most people). I thought that it would sellout fast for that reason but was surprised that it lasted 9 hours. Perhaps those of you who missed it can catch it in store or have someone do a CP for you. MAC really should put limits of two per item but people (ebayers) would still find a way around that.

That being said, why are these two collections hanging on while Julia Petite sold out in minutes? Is it because of the colors are not that exciting? Most of Julia Petite could also be duplicated as well. I don't know if there is any rhyme or reason to this madness.

True. I bought it for the other four shades because I love nudes and that PURPLE!!

The green and blue are nice to have, you know, just in case.

Thanks Dolly! This has just been all I needed to spend my money elsewhere and branch out finally! I'm sure if I were to get my hands on all that I had been wanting lately from Cinderella, Julia Petit, & Bao Bao, I would be sucked in to the MAC hype again and give them all my money again....which I don't need to do I think it's time to spend on Colour Pop again :flower: To think that a product lasting 9 hours is a good thing is kind of sad. But that's the game we play when we play with MAC. I suppose it could be fun if you have the time! Thanks! I actually have the MUFE flash palette so I could probably whip these colors up anyway. I'm just a sucker for bright colored amplifieds, that's all! I'm sure I'll get over this soon and will definitely not cry over this. I still have yet to buy a NYX lipstick!

I think it might have to do with packaging tbh. Not so sure, but that is what I think.

Definitely the packaging... With this collection and PT since there isn't any special packaging, the palette and the face powders will likely sell out (or did) because they are the most unique. Just my opinion.

Sad yes, but for MAC special release standards it was phenomenal, lol. Acai from Julia Petit sold out in what, 10mins? We were in online waiting rooms for RiRi. It is part of it and you kind of have to be "in it to win it", like the lotto. Silly to some, fun for others. Totally agree.

Here is a comparison swatches of MM and Cardinal.

Cardinal is the top & MM is the bottom. I'm liking MM more, because it's more opaque and creamy in one swipe. I haven't tried them both on the lips, yet. My lips are stained pink from trying on HC from Philip Treacy.

Maria Moretti red might not be selling out cause it is an amplified creme. Amplified's usually don't sell out as fast compared to mattes. Plus as we know MAC has released 5 million reds in this family here of late so it isn't particularly unique. :lol:
