Excellent choices, especially for your first order! I have and love these three - they are such flattering shades with a great texture. Hope you like everything! I have In Bloom in my cart; I keep vacillating because I've placed way too many orders in such a short period of time.

I really want Julep, but do NOT need another l/s like that. I think I want Flux, Snapdragon, Beauty Call and maybe Taco for e/s, but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I only had it on for a few hours to try but it's not overly creamy at all! It's really comfortable on it just felt like a creamy matte to me

Hello lovelies!

I was looking for some Colourpop swatches and stumbled into this thread. I have made two separate orders and just got my last one in yesterday. YAY!

Anyway, I have some images that I took from this morning handy, if you want to take a look. https://www.pinterest.com/rebbythewriter/makeup/ I got four of the new stix (Tootsi, Monkey, Westie, and Julep) among others. I'm usually a bit self-conscious about sharing pictures of myself (especially since I am not wearing any makeup, save for the lipsticks/liners) but I thought it might help for those on the fence.

Overall, I am pleased. There has not been one that I have purchased and regretted. I have to say that out of the new spring choices, my favorites are Julep and Monkey.

I had trouble sleeping last night, so yup, I caved and bought In Bloom. I looked at photos of the set on Beth Behrs on IG and Twitter, and didn't want to miss out. I justified it by reminding myself that I skipped a couple of MAC collections (Julia Petit, Mia, Treacy), so it all evens out. Lol.

For those who find MAC's Lavender Jade a bit too bright or neon, the ColourPop liner in Fern tones the brightness down a notch while preserving the purple-lavender hue.

The only Spring collection purchase I didn't go gaga over was the Monkey lipstix. It's a light pink and it washed me out. I need to layer that with some darker liners to make it work.

Got my package today! I love Tootsi and I think I need the pencil to go along with it now. I'm on the fence about Westie. I'll probably have to pair it with darker liners to make it work for me.

My order was supposed to come today, but I've noticed that their tracking is usually 2-3 days off for me so sometime early next week ... It seems to take FOREVER to get out of Goleta, CA and get to ATL

I agree on both. Westie is lighter and more cool toned than anticipated. The liner is the same so it doesn't darken really but I do like the color better when I fill in with the pencil and then use the lippie stix. I also ordered button and frida. On my hand they look similar but button is way peachier on the lips. I think tootsi is my fave overall!

Yep, I tried that and the color is definitely better. I just go a little light handed with the lippie stix. Plus I'm sure it's easier to make the color work once I start experimenting with different liners. The Bound lip pencil might be a good one. I paired it with Frida once and I liked how it looked, even though Frida is nice on its own as well.

how are you applying your shadow? I used a brush and Daddy just crumbled while applying?

I have noticed with the latest Spring shadows, they do crumble.
I use my finger to apply, usually my pinky finger.
