i ended up with that lipstick too. In store i ended up with: la vie est belle rollerball UD lost shadow formula x drying spray Most of what i want is online. But i had some store credit to spend. They also told me that i should come back on Thursday because they will have new items out. I was the 1st person at my store and felt like a queen. The staff there know me so they were teasing me about being the first person there. The food they had out was nice, brownies and croissants etc. Everyone was in a good mood. Now i have to narrow down my loves and make an online purchase.

I really want to be wrong about the Too Faced Dark Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. Maybe it will look differently on my face…? Bronzers do tend swatch really weirdly on dark skin... I might order it anyway. I'm nixing the Guerlain Terracotta #7 so there is room...

I got a deluxe sample today from jcp as my SA just tossed a bunch of stuff in the bag n said it was from a promotion yesterday!!

ok so for ROUND 2 I stopped in jcp Sephora cuz n grabbed too face palette and mufe primer! round 3 will be when I get paid on Friday!! im enjoying everyone's hauls so keep em coming

Yeah, they looked like dry pucks.... I steered clear from them. I was hoping for croissants like they had last year in Ottawa, even saved my breakfast calories... It was my first Toronto event and was hoping for something grander since it's the 'mecca' but I preferred last year. I came home to my husband who was sleeping in and immediately announced "What a waste of my morning! That was rubbish!" haha, he found it humorous..

So I went to the Rouge event! It was okay, pretty crowded but compared to the Holiday one

They did have a brow bar and then a hair styling booth etc but I didnt hang out for long since I made most of my purchases online except for some skincare. The sample bag had few random shampoo and perfume samples and a full size formula X Polish!!

Hi ladies! Quick question!

For those who went to the event and brought guests, did your sephora give them the makeup bag? I was 100% sure my guest was supposed to get one! They flat out told me no. The store director who was passing out her business cards earlier was even standing right there and said no. I tried to explain it was in my email.

Well... I just found on Beauty Talk that not only did other stores readily give guests the makeup bags... they definitely WERE supposed to! It was included in the FAQ written by sephora themselves. I sent a polite message to Sephora CS on facebook. Not sure what they'll do. To me, it's not about the samples but more about principle and that the customer is always right. I spend enough money there. It wasn't like I was trying to scam them out of another bag!


Did any of ya'll have this problem too?

My younger sister accompanied me and they gave her a card for the free clutch when they handed me mine. She's not too into makeup so I offered to get her a couple cream lip stains and I paid for it with my transaction, however, the sales associate did a separate transaction for just the free clutch for her.

Sucks that everyone didn't receive one because I thought that was the point of the event. My sister isn't even a BI and the SA had no issues giving her the clutch.

Let us know how you like it!! I'm really trying to find a tamer matte bronzer for the non-summer months because nothing in my current stash is filling that void. I keep going back and forth with Guerlain #7. I swatched it again today and while pretty, I'm worried it'll just look like brown powder, not a subtle bronzer. Sometimes I feel like the only way to know for sure with face powder products is to take it home with you and try it out… decisions, decisions!!!
