Skipping this.. Can't believe it! Only Men Love Mystery appealed to me, but it's so berry on the fair skinned swatch.. While I love berry lipsticks, I own approximately 5000

Which one is your favorite Berry lipstick?

It's beautiful :eyelove: My list so far is:- Men Love Mystery - It's purple... I love purple :eyelove: Tropic Tonic - I can work with it, and I did miss Toxic Tale Studded Kiss - I've got 3 out of 4 PC lipsticks, might as well complete the set Instigator - One of the best burgundies ever... Despite owning 1 already Matte Royal - Wanted to skip this... But it ain't happening

I wonder how it compares to RiRi Boy. I wouldn't be surprised if it IS RRB with a different name.

Thats what I was thinking too I have Riri Boy so I think I'll skip MLM... more cash for da liquid lippies/Le Disko :eyelove:

That first swatch resembling RRB had me excited and the second one kind of dulled that feeling. I guess MLM is a swatch in person kind of colour. It is beautiful, but I don't need more berries either.

Agreed. RRB looked exactly like UTA on me and I could barely tell the difference between them colourwise. The difference was all in the finish on me.

I only wanted 3 lipsticks, I can see myself getting more than the 5 I've listed. I really want to see what Persistence is about, as I got a feeling that its the browner cousin of Oxblood

I'd love that tbh, I missed out on Oxblood so I'd be all about that even more if it was a little browner.

Including postage, it was $100. I'm not spending anymore than £45, and that's including the postage.

I want to see Persistence, I like cinnamon. So it better look like peachy cinnamon... But then again, this is MAC we're talking about...

Maybe it's my lack of imagination, but I have no idea what this color might turn out like. Wouldn't be surprized if it was pink or purple, lol.
A color similar to Oxblood would be amazing indeed. I also really like "Persistence" as a name.

Remember the Oxblood fiasco??? Everyone thought it was a red, but turned out to be a peach nude??? Ugh, MAC always seem to state one thing in their colour story but looks nothing like what they said it was

Stone - Muted greyish taupe brown (Matte)
Antique Velvet - Intense Brown (Matte)
Naturally Transformed - Muted golden beige (Matte)
Runway Hit - Light nude (Retro Matte) light-medium coral with a hint of pink, warm undertones (Looks way too peachy for me)
Whirl - Dirty Rose (Matte) Matte
Men Love Mystery - Lavender violet (Matte) may just be another cool-toned fuchsia, sigh. I want a REAL violet

Royal - Deep blue (Matte) <= this is must buy

I have Whirl and Stone (and Heroine) lip pencils and Studded Kiss, Instigator, and Heroine lipsticks.

I missed out on RRB

I missed out on RiRi Boy too. It was the only lipstick that I wanted from the Rihanna summer collection, but there was the waiting room mess and I didn't bother to order anything. At least I got RiRi Woo which is a nice red and the retro matte finish isn't harsh on vibrant colors.
