I'm loving everything, except Golden Rinse. I'm not sure how I feel about it, as I said earlier. Might exchange for a different bronzer after I swatch in store. We'll see! I'm already contemplating another order... I'm trying to wait until the counter release though. I'm eyeing one of the brushes and I definitely want a BU of tumble dry. It's a bit peachier on my lips than the lip swatch would suggest. However, it's not as "creamsicle" orange as the arm swatch shows. I'm assuming that because it's more sheer, the pink in my lips alters the color. I'm glad, though, I love how it looks on my lips much much more than how it swatches on my arm. When I first swatched it, I was like "ew, no." good thing I actually tried it on.

I have to be careful pairing CW and GR together on my cheeks, can become way too orange. I had to tone it down a little with loose powder. I bet the bronzer would be beautiful with Hipness though!

PS, please excuse the jacked up brows. I did them in 3 seconds just for the sake of the pictures and realized I forgot to comb the product through.

Nice! Actually I got a notification recently that they were shipping on Sundays in my area, and I got something recently... must have Saturdays too I guess. I don't place 2nd day air orders I guess! Hahaha! I place regular 2nd day. I would get Amazon on weekends because they use USPS :barf:

What's sad is I didn't even realize there were brow fluidlines in this collection! Or that MAC didn't already have that!

They had brow fluidlines before. I think they've expanded the shades. I'm thinking about true brunette. I already have deep dark brunette and was quite happy with it until I misplaced it. I have a back up but I refused to have 2 of the same creme product open at the same time so in the mean time I've been using my brow pencils. I wonder how true brunette would look on me.

Steam heat is an awesome red for sure, and I'm absolutely loving tumble dry. If you're on yhe fence about TD you should try to swatch in store!! Though it looks different on hand swatches then lip swatches, IMHO.

Hi! I've been dealing with anemia for years now. Have they ruled out other conditions? I found out a few months ago that I have lupus which is the underlying cause of all my blood issues, among other things. For a long time I was really frustrated too because I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. PM me if you wanna chat. Hugs.

Thank you so much. I probably will PM you for your opinions/experience if that's okay? How are you dealing with the lupus so far?What are the doctors doing for you? As for me, one doctor thinks it's pernicious anemia, which sort of is my own body destroying the factor I need to absorb vitamin B and iron, but she's also concerned that I have a slow bleeding polyp or something, hence the other exploratory measures. If it is pernicious, I just have to do the infusions and shots the rest of my life, which is inconvenient, but I'll deal. It's the other stuff I'm worried about. Thanks again for talking to me about it. It's nice to talk to someone who understands.

The more I read on this thread, the more I regret not getting Hipness and the brushes. And after seeing Steam Heat on someone, I'm wondering if I could pull it off. But reds usually look awful on my NC15 skin; they make me look older and haggard. And I'm also wondering about my choice of Refined Golden. I went based on an Artist's suggestion through live chat, but I think even lightly applied it will be too dark.

And MAC just updated my shipping. Instead of being here Monday, now it says end of day Tuesday! I placed my order at 9:05 am Eastern, so I think I was pretty early in the launch. I remember checking at 9:01 they weren't available, and 9:05 they suddenly were. I was hoping it would arrive sooner, but I guess with such a large launch it's to be expected. I'm kicking myself for not paying the extra $5 for fast shipping. At the time I was so concerned about sell out that I just rushed through checkout!

Don't feel bad about skipping Steam Heat. Im like you - some reds make me look terribad, like an old crone. The right ones look fantastic, but I have to be really choosy and always try them in person first. I'm also NC15, I guess it comes with the territory. Hipness is cute, but I never bought it in the past - again, not a show-stopper for NC15 and also a little powdery (at least in past versions).

Enjoy the things you're getting and feel better soon. When they can get the right diagnosis for you, you'll be on the road to recovery ASAP. I've been there. It takes a while, but the progress is straight up!
