Hi. I need everybody's help. I cant decide how t narrow down my items. I'm interested in Chanel fall obviously but i also love the YSL fall palette,the violet gray gloss and the powder. I also love Dior anniversary from Nordstrom and the Chantecaille anniversary set which includes an exclusive eyeshadow palette. I obviously can't/don't want to buy everything!! What should I skip???

OMG! That's a tough one. Maybe you can narrow it down by searching your collection and determining if there are any dupes that would allow you to skip one or more
of the items that you want. Also assess how much use you think you'll get out of the items---how practical are they for your personal circumstance. Once you do that,
determine what items that remain on your list are limited edition, and go from there.

I tried doing that but somehow I can always justify it in that it looks a hair different LOL. I originally thought I'd be safe from Chanel fall but in person, the colors are beautiful!!!OMG! My true philosophy is, if you can afford it, go big or go home. If you think you'll be miserable without something-----then get it. I'm known for, 'if you can't decide which one, GET BOTH'.

Isnt the YSL powder permanent?? The gloss again idk, it looks really pretty in the tube but swatched dupeable?!! I would certainly recommend the Blush from Chanel. As for eyeshadows, the YSL Fall palette for a brighter tone and the rosy nude as a neutral option (it really is a neutral palette- very subtle everyday shades)! So in case neutral isnt of your liking pick the Les 4 ombres instead! I have not checked out the chanecaille set so I havent got an idea on that!!

Yes Macys,Saks and Lord & Taylor had the collection out as of last week. Just got a mail from NM saying they have the collection so soon nordies will have it too I guess!!

Lord & Taylor has it? I may run to a local Macy's today. I called Nordies and they still don't have it. But the SA says she has made inquiries and think it will be in by the end of the week. I'm waiting to hear from Bloomingdale's. I'm going to midtown tomorrow and I don't think I'll be able to resist going to Saks so I don't think I will be able to resist buying some things if I see it today or tomorrow.Sure does Meddy!!

I caved and ordered the Alezane blush from Macy's! Elegant's lovely (and somewhat X-rated) swatches put me over the edge! I hope it is not too warm on me.

I checked out my local nordie's today. They didn't have the chantecaille (which also caught my eye.). There were only two of the Dior palettes left. An SA applied it on me, I thought it was very cool toned and metallic looking on. Made my eyelids a little crepe-y. Also the fallout was everywhere. So, all that said, I still sort of want it even though I'm trying to talk myself out of it, somehow. Also no rainbow balls anywhere.

Are you able to see any of them in person? I checked out the YSL and Dior palettes today. I was surprised by the amount of glitter in the lighter YSL shades and the gray didn't swatch well at all (this is the polka dot case one.) My nordie's doesn't have the chantecaille so I'm no help there. The Dior was very cool toned, pinky metallic and made my eyelids crepe-y. So, absolutely go try them if you can, it should help you narrow them down a little. BTW, I like ALL your choices, too!

Bloomies called me back and the SA said they had the fall collection in except the nail polishes. She then said see you next week for the makeover. I forgot I had a makeover scheduled. I should have asked exactly what they had since the SA at Nordies thought the fall collection was the blue collection. Plus I'm not sure I can wait until next week. I may call again. I feel like a lunatic as I've called several times today.

Went to NM today and did serious damage. Got the quad. If you have green or hazel eyes it is a must have. I also picked up the quint, the 3 polishes, lip gloss, the eyeliner in bronze and copper and the blush. They are getting the Blue collection. As well as having the pale green nail polish which I also got.
