I think it's a joke that they told you that they would prefer if you spent more to redeem the bag when most likely, you spent $250 (excluding the few events where they offer more than one point per dollar) to get the 250 points to qualify for it. In my opinion, I would PREFER if they offered a bag that is a bit more expensive to make and higher quality for the $250 you had to spend to get it. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that Sephora offers perks like this because they don't have to, it's a cute bag and I redeemed my points to get it as well but if they are concerned about how much you are spending on your order to redeem it, they should consider how much we had to spend to obtain it and really think about if they are offering their customers something of equal or fair value compared to what they get from us in exchange. Because I'm sure the amount they made from each purchase we made to obtain those $250 points is more than the costs it required to make the bag.
Right!!!!!!!!!! I've spent over 1000 since last month!!! I will take my coins elsewhere if this situation isn't solved to my liking!

Wow all this drama is crazy! They need to be regulated for sure! The stores r no better in some cases... An associate once told me I couldn't get 2 perks because I wanted two Lancôme eye makeup removers... Then he had the balls to ask how I liked the remover next visit!!! It was shade, I tell u lol! If I have enough points I should be able to get wutever the hell I want! #thenerve
I agree! They are so stingy. When I FINALLY find something that I like I may want two of em. Big deal!

That's awful, but I am not surprised. Sephora has been doing underhanded crap like this for a while. They've banned people from using promo codes multiple times and for "abusing" Flash. They reported being told the same... we PREFER nonsense! Well, your customers PREFER if you honor your word and your policies written in black and white! I saw a few people post (on Facebook and different forums) that Sephora told them that they lose money on shipping and they have to pay for the free samples and that they need to look at it from a business point of view. WTH?! Why would the CONSUMER need to look at it from the business point of view? Don't you have employees to do that before they come up with the programs you use to falsely entice customers?!
How are they getting away with this?
:eek:hboy:  Yeah, and I'd prefer it if I had a body like Naomi Campbell, but unfortunately we don't always get what we prefer, lol. I'd love to know their response to your letter, please keep us posted.
 I'll def keep you all posted
YOU ARE JOKING!!! I always order the hair ties too!
Girl. I wish I was joking! I know someone who did it to get the bsg, and they had no issues...why did I get singled out???? I'm rouge, the other person is a BI

@yarahflower, I did it for the bag too!
I don't know on what basis they choose which order to cancel or not! I have placed small orders esp when they have lip pencils/ nail polish on sale!! I have one of the order cancelled but that was for the $1 lip pencil or something!' I went ahead and reordered and it shipped :haha:

Thats BS because i got 3 Fresh rose masks last month when they had them as perks. I asked and they said i could get as many as I want because they probably wouldn't be around for long. I think they just make things up as they go along.

Rarely do I even want any of their perks honestly although I did get a really nice Marc Jacobs makeup sampler with mini liquid e/l, pencil, mascara and lipstick recently... The Nars lip duo perk was good too since I didn't have to buy Cruella afterall. IMO they should still use better customer service skills all the damn time!!!
