Today in store I saw a cute Tarte set in the beauty to go check out section. It was minis. A blush & lip crayon thing. Both were a sparkley pink/orange type of colour. Would have bought it if it wasn't so sparkly and a lil cheaper (it was $17 cad), I couldn't even find it online, it was called How Sweet it is or something like that... I should've taken a picture :thud:

I was browsing the site trying to put my 20% coupon to decided to get it. I know they will be really tiny but if the color works with my skin tone, I can use it for travel. I was only going to the event to get the bag. Since its available online I will happily order what I need from home. I'm not going crazy because there's no discount which is useless to me.

I'm tempted to skip the event, but there a few foundation samples I've been wanting to try (the new Too Faced and Marc Jacobs), so I'll planning to go for the last 45-60 minutes instead of the full two hours. May pop by Barney's afterward and try out the Tatcha mist.

Oh myyyy god. I am dying! I love this MJ foundation. It's just so beautiful. I used only a tiny amount for fear of cake face. I still needed a tiny bit of concealer under my eyes and on the sides of my nose where I get red. The lightest shade (#10) seems to be a great match. We'll see how it wears through the day! There goes my wallet. Lol.

I have Mod Noir and am loving it. It's amazing smelling, but you do have to reapply often so I would recommend the rollerball.

super quick photo wearing the new mj primer and foundation! Like I said in an earlier post it is shade #10. I'm loving this. It's like a way better version of the nars all day luminous. It doesn't feel heavy or look cakey at all! I almost feel bare faced. Very impressive for a full coverage foundation! However, it's also not serum-y in my opinion. Dior nude air and foundation types like that feel a little more "greasy" if that makes sense. The MJ foundation sets really nicely! I'm going to give it about a 12-13 hour wear test. However I don't wear makeup much longer than that. It's supposed to rain today and it's really hot / humid. We'll see how it holds up!!

I'm so sad. For the first time ever, a foundation was too LIGHT. Had to over bronze to compensate.

I couldn't drag out my time in the store any more...I left with only buying 2 items and a ton of samples. Currently waiting for Nordie's to open for the NARS collection. I just wasn't in a spending mood and this event came at a bad time for me. That said, there's a brown MJ liquid liner?!?!?
