Blue Notes de Chanel aka Blue Rhythm Collection

I have it and it's not the best liner brush for sure, as people have mentioned. Am debating whether I keep or return the backup I got but so far am keeping it. With the exception of the TF liner, I mostly prefer gel liners, yeux stylos or  eye shadow. YSL used to make an excellent gel liner and they had a navy color but that has been discontinued. For my purposes, I do a very tight line (no wing) on the upper lash, and the Chanel works. The navy color is a classic cool neutral and a nice change from black to mix things up in more staid work environments. For more of an electric blue, I have a MAC fluidline, Royal Wink.  For me, in both the liner, the mascara, and the np fortissimo, Chanel really hit it on a navy shade that surprisingly I'm not finding to be that dupe-able. This is due to makeup trends, I guess. But I feel this collection indicates that people are ready for a return to blue on the eyes.  That being said, if you find it too blah for your desired look, I can certainly understand that and the consistency isn't ideal though it does wear well.
The linee is the most disappointing product in an otherwise excellent Collection. My main concern is its uneven pay off that makes it so difficoult to work with. Beside that I love this Collection as I loved Les Beiges one

I finally received Melody and the Blue Night mascara. I wore them yesterday, Melody was really lovely, looks much better on the lids then in the pan. I did have some creasing later in the day, so I wonder what that was about. I may have been rushing to get to work and skipped primer so that may be the reason. Did anybody else notice that? It could just be my oily lids....

Tomorrow i'm heading to the counter with this wishlist: Perle De Lune Stylo Yeux ( it was firstly introduced with La Perle Collection which never came to Sweden :( but luckily it is repromoted in Europe with the Blue Collection) Tisse Jazz ( first try then buy since i'm afraid of the blues for my eye colors) Tisse Smoky can wait since it is permanent One of the 2 nail polishes but i think Vibrato will win over the case And maybe Melody since i read so many rave reviews from you and is worth considering! If i like Tisse Jazz, the teal mascara coat will follow me home.So...let's see

I didn't have this issue thus far. But lids suck everything so there's nothing left to crease

I'm jealous of all of you who are loving Melody. For whatever reason, I guess my skin tone, it doesn't show up on me at all. Maybe I haven't looked at it in the right lighting yet or something? Anyway, I'm only keeping it because the rest of you love it so much!

Hey everyone! I purchased melody. I absolutely love it. It's the perfect neutral base. And it looks so good with the blue mascara and TF AW/15 eye shadow. I tried to take swatch pics but there was no point. I think it's already been mentioned that it looks so much darker I'm the pot than it goes on.
I've only been droning on about it for over a week now.

It's phenomenal !!!! I had everybody in the TF thread buying it.

did any onea of you lovely girls buy the blue eye liner?I'm curious to hear what you think about it. Personally, I didn't like it at all, too liquid , you can't "work" the line propoperly and the colours isn't that gorgeus electric blue showed in the promo pic
I love it. I'm wearing it today w/Tissé Jazz----black shadow on lid iw/blue liner! You have to use a little at a time. If I can work it---anyone can!!!

No secret---a small amount of product on the brush & apply in small strokes. Then repeat, to desired width & intensity.

I didn't have any creasing and I usually do with everything. I applied it with the applicator that came with it.

This is true. I would have totally overlooked Melody had it not been for you. I love how clean & bright it makes my eyes look.

Don't feel bad Win. There is not a single one of the recent IDOs from either of the two collections that I could wear with my coloring and eye shape. Nor can I wear AW15-- no way. If an e/s is pale, cool, and brightening (or neutral) I can wear it. Otherwise-- not. On the other hand, there is not a single eyeliner I don't love from these collections. The stylo eye shadows were right up my alley. I first saw Feuilles and knew it was a must have right here.

There are great tips here-- but whatever it is has to work on me. There are many things I would never have known about (or would have wasted money on) without this conversation.

Like for instance, I've been busy and did not pay attention to the raves on Cosmopolite RD Continental. Until finally it seeped in. I tried it and it is fabulous. Got it.

Right now I am eating a vegetable dish that is the equivalent of "goth." It would not appeal to the tastebuds of 99% of Americans because it tastes bitter. I happen to love it and it lowers blood sugar and is conveniently in season directly after all the sweet summer fruits. Unless people live in an urban area with Chinese or Indian groceries, it would be hard to find. (Bet V. knows it-- it's called karela.) This is just to say that taste is unique and nothing will always work for everybody and that is just fine.

Wow. Really? I almost flipped when I saw the picture. I gotta see it in person now. I've been sleeping on this collection, but it looks really nice.
Its really really naturally pretty. It just well, almost becomes my own skin tone. Its beautiful on WOC! I still want to get it though

You should check it out.

Yep, it looks so beautiful on WOC. I love the idea of it but I really don't get any color or brightening effect or anything. If I apply to one eye and not the other they pretty much look exactly the same. I'll have to look at it outside tomorrow. I thought it was interesting that they included a foam applicator instead of the usual brush with this one. Maybe I'll play around with brushes. Anyway, I bet it would look great on you Shontay.

Hi all, My life has sort of turned super-busy lately-can I ask a silly question? Blue polishes from other lines have sometimes stained my nails. Is anyone getting any staining with these?  I've never ever ever had a Chanel polish stain (including the blue ones) but I thought I'd ask before making my order. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
No staining with both blues, I always wear a base coat.
