I'm starting to lose interest a bit. I thought my Pro store would have it early. If it is launching this week, I don't think I'm getting anything early. I think I may just cancel my order with the store and order online. At least I could get Ebates. What happened to the days when the Pro store got stuff early?

I ordered the blush duo yesterday when I saw the collection was available. I'm really tempted by Moons of Saturn and the pressed pigments, but I really want to see more swatches. I'm really frustrated by the lack of reviews, especially temptalia.

Okay, T has swatches up of the collection in her gallery, although you need to scroll past all the Color Rocker shades. I really might need Jasper AND Bloodstone.

Kajal Crayon in 'Flourish Me Vibrant' looks gorgeous but I think I need to pass. I happened to be walking through a department store and a limited edition collection from Estee lauder was on display. I ended up snagging this almost neon turquoise eye liner that is just ah-may-zing. I ended up finding two back ups so I think I'm set for turquoise eyeliner for awhile. Even though I am totally tempted by this "crayon" I agree with a blogger that said it might be hard to use once the point wears down.

The only things I'm tempted by are the pressed pigments and maybe the concealer palette. Maybe the Quik Trick Sticks, but I feel like I have enough Nars Multiples. So I don't think any of those is a good investment for me. I'm letting this collection go.
Guerlain has some liners that have a similar, non-sharpening format. The key is to use them by tilting them slightly and using the side of the point, rather than the point directly. Here's a picture (not mine) of how to angle them. Like this, they last forever and the point stays:
but if you don't want to use them this way, skip for sure. There are plenty of other liners out there that can be sharpened.

Still reminds me of Tribalist though...
Its only two items I want, Moons of Jupiter is WOC friendly and the dazzleshadow palette... I don't know why I keep on going back and forth on it.

It looks nice but I would have loved it more if it was all powder. I just never reach for my cream blush or highlighter type products.

I ordered a whole bunch of stuff. Never heard from the pro store about my pre-order from the party. Here I was thinking that it was going to be like the old days, getting a party invite and then getting your stuff way early. Guess not.
I stopped at a regular store yesterday and they said it was coming out next week. Birdies said they weren't getting it. Oh well. I still want to get a gloss but it is not up yet. I took the orangey eyegloss off my list for now. I was planning to use it on the lips but I don't know now. If it is really coming to stores next week that will give me a bit of time to think it over.
