Has anyone found a full length clip of the McCain concession? I only saw a minute or so of it, and I'd like to hear the whole thing. I liked what I saw, except the people booing when he began to talk about Obama winning. I think that was the McCain I liked, not the one that's been around recently.

That is the part that made me cry! We have come a long way. We are at the mountaintop! Man, right now can't nobody take my joy! (yeah I know that isn't correct grammar but dammit I don't care-you know what I am saying)!!!

The old lady's name... It sounded like he said "Anderson Cooper"... but I think it was probably "Anne ____ Cooper" lol

I just want to give a whole hearted congratulations to those of the african-american community. I know I have not agreed on some of the views that Obama has expressed, however, I do know that this is indeed an important and historic event in your lives that I can never fully comprehend. I hope you are filled with great excitement, emotion and pride.

I'm happy Obama won, and I'm not even American. He honestly seems like such a charismatic and "good guy". I hope he will bring about some changes that will also improve ties between the USA and the rest of the world.

I'm glad that as a country we've evolved and voted for a person not for the color of his skin but for the hope and change he would provide.

It saddens me to see that the government is controlled by one party, not a good thing :-D there's no balance of power.

Time to put my money under the mattress

I will never concede to higher taxes, burdening corporations, etc. -- this is not the way to go my friends.

Hey Beauty,

Between Nader and Barr alone, we third party voters managed to cast 1 MILLION votes! Another 1/4 of a mil between McKinney and Keyes.

Those are the numbers that give ME hope!

I've never been so glad that a large portion of my husband's income is untaxable. With they way they keep lowering the bar on what "rich" is, we're coming perilously close to getting our taxes jacked up on us when Obama takes office.

Thanks. I've been looking for stats on that. Everyone is covering the Obama stuff, which is indeed important, but I wanted to see if it as a historic night for the alternatives.

Speaking as a member of a country where if America sneezes we catch the flu, I feel very strongly that you collectively made the right choice.

"It is what it is."

I really am going to keep my mouth shut about this whole election. Im not happy but im not upset either.Part of me wanted to just vote independent because I wasn't sure what to do... One day I was totally for Obama, the other I was totally for McCain.. for ME... it came down to my morals and who I felt comfortable with voteing for MORALLY. That's just where my priorities lie.. personally. I voted for McCain because morally, for ME, thats who I agreed with and who I felt comfortable voteing for.

Thats not saying I dont like Obama.. I do- I really really do.. and I hope and pray he takes this country to a higher level.. and im SO HAPPY for something so historic to happen for this country- its been long needed...
