I called my Macys just a bit ago about the collection with the red blush - she knew NOTHING about it
I've been telling hubby almost everyday that I am on the hunt for this new Chanel collectionI am obsessed with that red blush & lipstick
That is hilarious -- you should just take over her job!! We are usually more informed than they are

There is literally barely any pictures/swatches of this collection at all! Trust me as soon as I saw the promo pic I was on google searching for them!

The more I see of this collection the more I like it. I want at least one of the cream shadows and all three polishes at this point. Glad I am taking an extended MAC break so I can save up for it.
Now if I could just say the same about MUFE....(damn you MUFE why can't I quit you?

It's always funny to talk to that particular Chanel lady She's the one that chased me into the shoe dept. She gets quiet on the phone then asks me what I know. When I call about info on a new collection. Monsy - there is no such thing as too many pink blushes

Katred, my guess is the Byzance collection will only be available at the Chanel boutique. If Holt's gets it, may only be the flagship store. The Bay doesn't generally get these limited collections, they only get the rights to launch certain product lines early as an "exclusive" like they did with the Coco Shines or they may carry a certain shade exclusive to the Bay. The quad does look gorgeous though.
As for the actual fall collection, I'm glad that it's not out till August here, it'll give me a bit of time to save!

Sadly, I think you're right... I'd try just emailing them and asking, but I'm not sure they're employees know any more about who gets which collections than people here... Often times less. I'd shrug and say "money saved", but I don't really feel that way.
I have to say that, having seen the descriptions of the Fall lipsticks, I'm a little less enthusiastic. I think they might be a little warm-toned for me. I still want all the nail polishes and probably the JC. As well as a couple of those "Chanel to Kill" shadows (although I'm assuming those are permanent, so there's less of a rush...)

If I saw the correct pic of the collection it looks beautiful. I love the gel e/s. The other products look gorgegous as well.
I'm not sure why but I have thing about the applicators they put with the blushes and e/s. I guess it's just me but I would prefer the products without them. Oh well I suppose I'm just odd this way, it really shouldn't matter.

It's yellow gold and the glitters are quite fine and sophisticated looking.
Saw the Byzance collection today! I bought all the items except for the Gold JC. I have Gold Fever, which is paler than Gold. The red RA, Byzatin, is stunning. I swatched other RC and RA for dupes but none are exact dupes. I think Excessive RA is close. The red blush, Rouge, is very pigmented. It has red shimmers. I will have to wear it with a light hand. The quad, Topkapi, made in Italy, looks gorgeous in person. The shadows feel like cream and are very pigmented. They feel and look like molten metals on my skin.

I think I can cut down my Semi-Precious list
As soon as I saw the pics I was straight on the phone to the Chanel counter in Selfridges! Unfortunately they hadn't heard of it and told me the next collection is out August 18th and is the autumn collection I seriously hope we get this collection although information is so scarce!
