oh, I just realized the haircut Rrrramonnnn gave me is the same as the young blonde short haired model for the promo pics of the Cruise collex.. short and blonde, but mine is brown for now.. lol... but you get the idea. Glad I got it before it became fashionable..

I don't much mind another taupe so much as the fact that it looks like a frosty taupe. And there's something about Peridot that I'm just not too keen on. I can't quite put my finger on it...it's rather sickly looking. Maybe I will change my mind once we get some better pictures, though.

I dunno. I'm pretty sure I didn't look that bright and glowy when I was 15. Then again, although my skin was generally clear, I always felt frustrated that I could see pores and that I didn't look as flawless as other girls my age. I guess I started off an older broad and have just started to catch up with myself.
Ahem- In the name of staying on topic, I have to say that I actually like all three of the Chanel Fall polishes. I don't actually have any taupe shades for my nails, so I feel like it's time to get on the bandwagon. Those other shades are just my thing, too... Of course, I'm always way more into the Fall collections than anything. I saw the info and promo shot for the Givenchy Fall collection and almost fainted. I don't really need any more smoky-eye shadows and dark lipsticks, but I'm just unable to resist.

Peridot looks kind of dirty, mouldy and rusty, doesn't it? lol. Yeah maybe it looks better in real life.
I'm just got an email from my local chanel, saying the Byzance de Chanel collection is out in 3rd June here. So this is the pre-fall collection with the $250 limited gold e/s quint? Here's the pic from the email. So the "palette of shadows" is from the fall collection, not this quad right? *confused*

As much as I love golden blush on other's I would not wear it because it would only highlite my spots or any upcoming lines.. it's like wearing skin tight shiny leggings when one is chubby.. lolol. ew.
Nora.. my hair was shorter on one side before with a longer piece one length on the other side.. it was most cool.. but that darned piece kept flying around and getting into my eyes -- and that's how it wound up in Rrrramonnsss' lit cigar.. lol.. It did burn a good chuck of it off and to be honest I was lucky my face was not burned. The cut was accidental and just a way to accomodate the burned hair.. but it came out great and now that I see the same look on the Chanel Cruise.. I am giddy.
It does feel so much lighter and cooler.. it did before, but now, it's so much more manageable. I think Rrramon should give up his grapes and go into hairdressing

I too thought that the really gilded-looking one was the $250 mama, not this one in the promo pic - it's in some pics that were posted a long time ago - I'll have to see if I can dig them out -

I called up the counter to have the all the Byzance items reserved: gold and red JCs, quad, and red RA velvet. I'm likely to pass the gold JC and maybe the quad too, depending on how I feel when I see them in real life. 3rd June is really quick!
