Yes I'd definately skip gloss. It's creamy and glossy enough on it's own and has sparkle through it as if you'd applied a gloss.

I've never tried the liquid shadows. I love the look of them but I just can't get a grip on the price for a single eyeshadow so I'm going to pass. For me both lipsticks were a bit of a fail because they weren't my typical beloved Rouge Coco formula but I am falling in love with the look of Magnolia so I may deal with the sheerer, creamier formula. Patchouli is lovely but I'm having a hard time with it wearing off fast and leaving lots of gold glitter behind.

They are both excellent just different. I agree that Kaska Beige may be better for an everyday look but then again I've had no problem wearing Tentation Cuivree to work etc. Just depends on how you feel about sparkle. It is very elegant sparkle thought that really only shows itself in direct sun/light.
Maybe see what colours you think would work best for you.
