I'm so bummed. I went to Nordstrom and ended up getting quite a bit but when I got home, I realized the SA gave me Tweed Pink instead of Tweed Fuchsia! I immediately called before the store closed and the SA tried to convince me I got the right one. She said it looks fuchsia but its the pink color. I wouldn't budge and she finally went to check and conceded that it is called Fuchsia. I asked her to hold one for me. But I'm bummed, Nordstrom isn't exactly close by and I have to see if I can borrow a car to go or I have to take the train. Also, I was looking forward to wearing the whole look tomorrow. Anyway...

I got:
Pleasing Glossimer
Patchouli l/s
eyeshadow quad
Splash fluid iridescent e/s
eventually Tweed Fuschia

I was on the fence about the quad because I would have liked a more vibrant pink and I have tons of brown e/s but I just loved the brown eyes and pink lips and I knew I would never think to recreate the look without the quad.

The Patchouli was lighter and more pink than the online pics looked so this is looking more like a brownish nude tone for my skin tone. But this is fine with me. The Pleasing Glossimer is pretty pink too.

I haven't bought Chanel in a few years but I did notice they still had a few favorites - Unity and Spark glossimer but that Meteor color looked out of this world! I also liked a bronzey coppery fluid e/s color a bit more than Splash but I figured I could wait but now that I have to go back, I'm worried I'll cave. In fact, I didn't look too much for fear of adding more to my bag.

Waiting to look at Patchouli l/s in person because I'd be worried about it going pinky glitterbomb on me. Most 'nudes' tend to go pink on me unless they're blended without a pink undertone.

I've got a sale thread up and I'm waiting on one more sale. Once that goes through, I'm using some sale money in my Paypal to get the holiday quad. It looks absolutely divine. That darkest color is

I didn't really look at Magnolia lipstick. Way too pink for me. I usually can't do those creamy pink colors so I didn't even swatch it. I thought the other pink glossimers might be too bright for me but I really liked them so I may have to go back for those if they don't sell out.

That promo pic is what initially did it for me too. I'm sure that the copper can be toned downed if it seems too much. Hope you get your sale

Wow - The quad swatches look REALLY nice in those pics! Heck - everything looks gorgeous in those pics & swatches!!!! The splash es reminds me color-wise of MAC's Smoke n Diamonds

Oh my that blush looks too pretty. The nail lacquer has my attention simply because I love Chanel lacquers- which is bad cause the last thing I need is more nail polish!

This is an evil thread!

I picked up the holiday gloss set on Friday, as well as two other glossimers (Seashell and Beige Guitare). So pretty!

But now I'm thinking about dipping my toes even further into Chanel. I'm eyeing that quad and possibly Pleasing. Thankfully, I think the tweed blush will probably too cool for me....

I'm not feeling MAC's upcoming collections, so I think I may just start buying Chanel for the next few months. It'll mean fewer items because they cost more, but it's not like a need a ton of new items anyway!
