I really don't know what is going on lately with the differing opinions on various Chanel quads?! I've read a few people mention that they disliked the Enigma quad, yet I have no issues at all with it. I have to use the pink shade wet, but that's because it's so close in tone to my own skin, but applied wet, it picks up the gold shimmer. I find the other three colours plenty pigmented.
Temptalia also said the Soho quad was really pigmented, which was ultimately what sold me on it!
As for the holiday quad, it is the baked version, so it's possible that some of the reviewers don't have as much experience with them. There is a tendency for the shimmer in the baked quads to create a lot of fall out, but for me, it's a small trade-off for the wear I get out of them. And the shimmer is beautiful once applied. They are meant to be buildable, so maybe that's why some people find them to be less pigmented?
So all in all, I guess it's a "your results may vary" type thing with these quads!!! I ended up choosing Soho over holiday because the holiday quad looks quite warm, and this past summer I had picked up the Plein Soliel quad, which isn't the same, but has a nice chocolate brown shade in it. Between that and my mystic eyes quad, I think I have enough similar colours to pass on the holiday quad.
Now Patchouli on the other hand, the more pics I see of that one, the more I want it!
