Does RT look like that other pink blush you & I both bought doubles of on ebay??? Although it does look a lil diff. in all the photos.

Any free shipping on chanel.com ? Off to look

^^ I have some justifying to myself to do.....along with the inevitable denial of something else I want....I've been on such a rampage lately I really must stop. But it WAS my b/d, so maybe that's how I will justify it.

Yeah, the UDPP cakey thing is terrible. And I had just bought the supersize at ULTA a little while back. I'm hoping it's a seasonal thing - that I'll be able to wear it again when the weather is warm.....

Guess I'll check out NARS......after I go check out RT and Joyeuse again.....DRAT!!!

UPDATE: I just ordered Rose Tourbillon. Convinced myself I'd rather have that than Joyeuse at the moment. Zero will power.

(belated).

I tell you, I don't even know when I HAVEN'T had a birthday do-over in the last 10 or so years.

Also, I enjoyed reading your blog the other day.

EDIT: your update made me laugh!

Elegant, I love BE's Bisque. I started out with BE back in 2001, and while I don't use much of the line anymore, I do love my bisque, and summer bisque.

Speaking of Kate Sommerville, are you still liking the product you talked about a while back? (I forget the name, but you were really liking the results?)

I have been using her Exfolikate since August, and have been happy with it. I'm kind of curious about the rest of her line.

^^ My poor blog!! I haven't been on in soooooo long - it's time to update it, but I surely can't compete with the other bloggers out there, but thanks for looking! And thank you all for the birthday wishes!! My thumb is broken too, so I echo Elegant and Meg with the 'thumbs up' forever and ever!!!

RT isn't like the one we ordered Elegant - that one is much lighter. I think RT is more similar to PE, but with a cooler rather than gold sparkle....there's a look at it on one of the blogs but for the life of me I cannot remember which one......

Marajode, I'm using Cyto-Cell, and I have to say I really like it! My skin has calmed down a lot, and I like the texture. I've been using it for about 2 weeks, with my regular skin care regimen. I think it's taken it up a notch. I also have Exfolikate, which I'll start using again - I had a jar that I used up, and I never replaced it. I have another jar now (that I had ordered from QVC) that I will break out of the box soon.......

Update: here's the link from cafemakeup: http://cafemakeup.com/2010/02/chanel-blush-marathon-chanel-turbulent-joues-contraste-blush/

Really - I still love the Bisque. me too, I don't really use any of the other BE stuff, but I keep on using the bisque. It always works & stays looking good.

Yes, I am still really loving the KS Cytocell! Thats why I thought I might like their eye cream. I need to search it out yet. I've heard everyone rave about the exfolikate. I need one of those try me kits from her line.

Oh, I haven't seen any other pics of RT other than ebay...I googled but didn't come up with anything!

Yay - I am so excited to read that. Yes, the calming & texture is great!!! I love how my blush looks & applies after using CC - WOOT!

Meggy.. I have the same problem with UDPP.. I think there is an age limit on udpp, and it is 21.. legal drinking.. lol.

seriously tho.. it does get crumbly on me too and if I get it in my crease, it will glop up and the finish is horrific and hh.as to be redone. ug
LOL! oh my I loved reading that - yep - tis true

Thanks for the link Winthrop! I knew it was somewhere! Now if I could only get Turbulent....now that's a blush I would love! I think I've mentioned before that I have an old Lancome blush called Tropink, which looks very similar......that blush was scary in the pan, but oh, is it gorgeous! I can't bear to get rid of it (yes, I still use it from time to time, don't care about cooties). I've always been a blush freak. I should have been a clown.

Seriously Elegant.. UDPP works well on younger women imo.. if you use eye creams UDPP, even if you let them absorb into your skin, UDPP seems to just float on top and then the ES floats on that, then it turns into Chernobyl

Dear god Elegant, that's terrible! I had something similar happen with my grandmother, when the hospital she was in transferred her without telling us (she'd been admitted under critical condition). We walked into her room to see her and *poof* she wasn't there. No one would tell us anything except "she's gone" or express surprise that we hadn't been told. 20 minutes later, we find out that she's been transferred back to her nursing home... I'm so sorry to know you had to go through that, it's brutal. The good news is that your father is still alive. The bad memories will fade...

I want the peach l/s too but I can't decide yet. It is lighter than Peregrina, which I don't own too. I paid S$44 for Joyeuse, which is what a RA and RC l/s costs. When converted to US$ it is $34.

OK, thanks for the warning. I've never tried UDPP, but I definitely don't need anything that's going to make my cakiness worse than it is already... I'll stick to my paint pots.
