I only saw the last 30 minutes of Mally - I ordered that new mascara, as I love her volumizing mascara! I too like some of her products quite a lot! One of my faves is the Shimmer Shape And Glow (or something like that) blush system (well, of COURSE!) - it works quite well. Not that you can't achieve the same effect with multiple blush colors, but this is easy.

My only complaint is that her packaging is HEAVY! I kept her things in one of the dresser drawers in my 'makeup' room, and I had to move them because they were weighing the drawer down so much.

She is fun to watch though, and I usually order her TSV.......

I want the peach l/s too but I can't decide yet. It is lighter than Peregrina, which I don't own too. I paid S$44 for Joyeuse, which is what a RA and RC l/s costs. When converted to US$ it is $34.

So taking the currency conversion into account the cost is very similar to the US. That's more of a markup on ebay than I thought then. Thanks!

Elegant I'm so very sorry that happened to you. How terrible! I can't believe people in that profession could be so insensitive in their choice of words. So I noticed that Neiman Marcus has FREE SHIPPING again on any size order right now. If they had the La Mer Powder in Translucent I'd jump all over it. I'm trying to find a setting powder that has a luminous sort of finish like MAC MSFN's. I don't want any shimmer or glitter though. I think my brief love affair with Guerlain Meteorites is over and I've listed them all for swap/sale. I just can't tolerate having sparkles all over my face no matter how teeny tiny and subtle they may be. I prefer a subtle kind of sheen/glow. I've heard a lot of raves for La Mer but I can't find it in translucent from anywhere I have access to ordering from. UGH Maybe one day everyone will ship to Canada.

I agree! I have & love the Shape & whatever Yep on the packaging & its so hard to open a lot of the latches. But, they are pink.

Dear god Elegant, that's terrible! I had something similar happen with my grandmother, when the hospital she was in transferred her without telling us (she'd been admitted under critical condition). We walked into her room to see her and *poof* she wasn't there. No one would tell us anything except "she's gone" or express surprise that we hadn't been told. 20 minutes later, we find out that she's been transferred back to her nursing home... I'm so sorry to know you had to go through that, it's brutal. The good news is that your father is still alive. The bad memories will fade...

Aww, thank you my dear that is so sweet & comforting. Its true, thats what they do with the whole nursing home/hospital thing and its so troubling when everyone is already under stress. I'm sorry you went through that as well. I really appreciate your encouraging words! And, its so nice to see you here.

Have you tried the Diorskin Nude FreshGlow Powder makeup? It's really lightweight and almost invisible, but has a slight sheen to it.

Hey ladies! Just popping in to say Happy Valentine's Day!

I went out at lunch to get hubby a little something and also ended up picking up a bottle of Chance using my SDM points (for those of you outside of Canada, SDM is a drug store that carries higher end cosmetics and fragrances). I ended up paying $20 for a $97 bottle of perfume!

Also tried Peche Nacree, finally... what a great, easy to use polish! It applied easily and only took two coats. Well worth it imo, since I generally don't have much luck with paler colours, they often apply streaky or too sheer.

Thanks! Yes I did try this once. Not as a setting powder though but to use as a powder foundation. I only tried it a couple times then got rid of it. I can't remember why I didn't care for it? Probably just that I've never been big on powder foundations. Maybe I'll have to get a sample and play some more with it.

oh, I have a brand new LaMer powder foundation.. and haven't touched it yet.. geesh.. I scare myself sometimes.

1: Exfolikate is the cat's pajamas. Really, it's incredible! I LOVE it. Try a sample if you can!

I have never tried the KS eye cream - trying a sample of Nourish right now. I'm on the fence with it....

Never tried anything from D&G either......

Still lemming Joyeuse, but I did some damage at INGLOT today....I think I've exhausted the eye colors I want to get there....thank goodness!

I also went to Sephora for some Living Proof stuff and ended up with a CoverFX concealer too.......

C! lol.. I was wondering that too.. since we use so many acronyms.. and shortcuts to products I was thinking this was a new product!!

I have done some physical testing of the DG blushes and ES.. some samples I got, plus some stuff I bought on my own to see finished products.. I have only liked a pink blush, and a nude blush.. they need more work on the final product as I did not find it comparable to a JC or to Guerlain.. comparing apples to apples.. expensive too.

Now, I need to try some of that sexxy Exfolicate!

oh, speaking of sexxy... I received a dozen red roses and a box of Godiva Chocolates.. but there was a blank card attached.. and and and.. I have no clue who could have sent it.. unless it's a goof

and speaking of major goofs.. I bought some more sublimage eye cream from Neimans and when I went back to get a bu of Emotive and a CD ls -- Ara Red, which I saw on Amy;s blog.. err.. the damn site froze up
