Oh, hey y'all. Long time, no chat. Anyway I was creeping yesterday and found out about this collection. I stopped by a Chanel counter and got a creme blush, Chamade #67 and an illusion d'ombre, Diapason #92. I tried to get the IDO only, but I turned right around and took the blush, too. Both are gorgeous. I decided to skip the lipsticks because been there, done that. They seem pretty enough, though. So, that was a quick and easy haul and I can't wait to use my stuff. :flower:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE both lipsticks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of my order looks like it will be here tomorrow. Not sure why they split it up.
^ Dedicace - left, Fougueuse - right
^138 - Fougueuse - Beautiful medium slightly brighter in a good way Pink Pink. It looks bright in the tube & in the swatch but is a true slightly deeper blue pink but it's straight up true Pink Pink on the lips. It has just a tad red to it.
^ 59 - Dedicace - Such a very pretty true medium slight rose pink pink. Really really pretty pink on.

They are so much prettier in person on than the pics show! And, I feel that they are different enough from all the other Chanel lipsticks. It fils that whole in Chanels lack of medium true pinks...they are in the tones of Joyeuse ls.^OK, now I feel like I need both of those lipsticks.
I have another ls coming in the mail later today.

I just saw this collection when I stopped into Macy's to give my Chanel gal a pressie {boo hiss she is not allowed to accept gifts or tips} I love the NP and the plum lipstick. The pink coco as well. I did not look at color names just spent a few minutes swatching on hand

I checked this out today and was so underwhelmed. I'm used to being 'wowed' by new Chanel collections and buying most everything. The colors were pretty but I feel like I've seen them all before, IMO they weren't unique at all. I was especially disappointed in the quad, 3 of the 4 colors were shimmery and my overall impression was 'meh'. Sounds like everyone else is liking this collection.

45 - L'Adoree - Its a very wearable pretty muted soft slight berry, slight eggplant plummy shade. So smooth.

Fougueuse is looking so pretty! I'm still debating the Intonation blush and the Murmure Glossimer, I haven't been able to find any swatches of it. I was interested in Tapage too but crossed it off my list. I wish they would come out w another "I have to have it" nail polish it's been too many murky purples and bright pinks like Fracas lately (it's not that they aren't pretty but I'm a big nail polish addict, I have around 400 bottles it needs to be really different to wow me) , I want like a mint green or something like a Jade repromote!I LOVE LOVE LOVE both lipsticks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had 1 BU of Joyeuse. The clicky case (spring) broke on my first...bummer

oh no. well, I am putting together a huge beef with Chanel -- their packaging has gone downhill bigtime.
I have two of the kabuki brushes.. one has lost it's CC's on the cap. I have some bronzers from two summers ago and my last bu of Rose Ecrin also lost the CCs on the cases. And, my highliter from last winter also lost it's logos.. lol.
to top all this off, I discovered a powder compact in my stash, which is about 25 years old. It is gorgeous lacquered metal in perfect condition altho the powder is used up. But, it goes to show how the quality of packaging has deteriorated.

I was going to ask you...I have the Hydramax lip balm which is about a year & a half old - do they go bad? It smelled weird, but then I cannot remember what it smelled like new. Usually the Hydramax products smell amazing.

Elegant why don't you depot it -- put it into a small pot and use it from there. It will dry up or change texture/colour in the faulty tube.
and yes, a lot of missing CCs lol..... will take pics when I can and show everybody. It's silly to pay so much for the brand and get faulty packaging. The old compact is amazing and heavy -- gorgeous.
the balm might have gone bad..it should not have any unusual smell to it, and the texture should be the same as day 1... it may have gotten rancid or is in the process.. best not to use it.
