45 - L'Adoree - Its a very wearable pretty muted soft slight berry, slight eggplant plummy shade. So smooth.








And, since my nails got in the shot, it's Chanel Holiday Rouge Rubis

I definitely think its on the road to rancid. Its a shame because its still fairly full..not going to chance it.

Ok, so how do I do that with the pot? I've never done that before.

Here is an idea of how to depot a lippie -- I wanted single little pots or duos for when I travel, so I found these in my stash -- contact lens containers are perfect for duos, and single small cream pots perfect for single ls... just slice off the lippie and use a small spatula and push into the pot, put in microwave for 5 secs and watch it melt a bit -- not too much or it loses it's original texture. You might need another 5 secs, but that depends on the original texture. I have a few of these which I love to use alone or combined.

Katred, I have not heard more on it -- there have been scattered complaints about the spring mechanism in RA -- I have a major beef with other packaging.. lol

I had the hydramax lip balm before but I forgot how it smelt. Has the texture changed?

The spring of my Ardent RA, the very first RA I bought, spoilt and I brought it to the chanel studio. The lovely SA changed the black casing for me, and I think perhaps the normal chanel counters would do that too. You could try.

:lol: Thats a lot of missing CC's. That older compact sounds lovely. Yep, I curse every time I try to use that darn lipstick. I tried to fix it but it just breaks again. Now I feel like the ls is drying out because the casing doesn't fit tight on it. I was going to ask you...I have the Hydramax lip balm which is about a year & a half old - do they go bad? It smelled weird, but then I cannot remember what it smelled like new. Usually the Hydramax products smell amazing. Oh, & I LOVE Rose Ecrin

I always thought the HM+A Lip Care smelled funny. Even brand new pots.

Kate - its really really pretty on. Like Hergreyness said, its a much softer shade on than it looks in the tube. Very pretty & different from other plums I own.

my eldest daughter was with me at Macy's and she said she liked L'Adoree a lot... tried to tell me it would look better on her than me. Well she is a lovely pale redhead with brown eyes so yes it would but darn it....

She just started swiping my MAC lipsticks and it seems quite a jump. She loves Deeply Adored and thank goodness I had no problems convincing her to take one of my two Azalia Banks lipsticks. I really disliked it on me so glad that somebody is wearing it. hmmm now that I think of it she also likes my dioriffic red so I could consider Chanel not so much a jump in price but she hasn't asked me for a Dior ... ponders

I LOVE LOVE LOVE both lipsticks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of my order looks like it will be here tomorrow. Not sure why they split it up.

^138 - Fougueuse - Beautiful medium slightly brighter in a good way Pink Pink. It looks bright in the tube & in the swatch but is a true slightly deeper blue pink but it's straight up true Pink Pink on the lips. It has just a tad red to it.

Sonic Pink lip liner - Slight violet blue pink, Chamade creme blush - slight pinked coral, red, very creamy smooth. Melodeuse lipstick - gorgeous pink coral with some red tones
