Here ya go elegant. I'm going to go and get a few of these (shower cream & beauty milk for sure) this weekend to put ina gift basket I'm making for my daughter-in-law to give her when she has my little grandson in a couple of weeks. She loves anything pink and I bet these smell yummy. I always like to take something for mommy as well as baby. The moms get left out so much and they need some pretties after giving birth.

beautiful ... but I have the leather and about six more pallettes from Dior so unless the pigmentation cements me to the floor, I will skip for now.. oh man, everytime I say that I wind up buying..lol.

Michelle - I love the looks of the Dior A lot!! Oh nooooo! Look at the pretty pink gloss too:shock: heavens...so many pretty things. I wonder if those Dior products are available yet? HG - really.....hahaha Joyeuse it's so beautiful that yes it is worthy of the backup! It become my favorite pink lipstick ever.

^^ Yes the pink gloss in the middle is stunning! The darker pink at the right looks nice too.

I saw the chubby sticks but sadly, we only have 4 shades: super strawberry, whoppin watermelon, mega melon and whole lotta honey, and all the counters I went to only had whoppin watermelon left. It is almost colourless so I pass for the time being. I like that we just have to twist the top and the pencil comes out, so maybe I can use it as my night time lipbalm so I don't have to put my finger into the pot. I want chunky cherry so I'm disappointed we won't be getting it.

Thanks, I've been thinking when will we finally see dior's summer collection because all the other brands have released info already! The bronzer looks beautiful! But guerlain is famous for their bronzers, the terracotta. I don't own any guerlain's bronzers and I'm keen on saving and getting one this summer. I only have 3 dior quints, much fewer than my chanel quads, because my heart belongs to chanel.

@Shadow Addict- Congratulations! Your present sounds like a wonderful idea!

I'm still not crazy about bronzers, but that first Dior one does look awfully pretty. I find any of the Guerlain Terracotta ones I've tried, even the ones that are intended for light skin, to be too dark on me.

I have Shiseido #406 - Elegant, you would LOVE this! It's a really pretty pinky-red color. I will try to get some pics and swatches posted soon. I also have #407 which is a pretty, cool-toned pink with blue iridescence. It's gorgeous on - not over the top at all.

Elegant, I tried the powder this morning, and while it looks a bit dark in the jar it didn't come out dark on my skin - it gave a nice finish. I bought the Medium though I flirted with getting the light. I didn't have any trouble with the eye amplifying shadow/liner blending - I wonder if you got a lemon? Haven't tried the highlighter yet, but yes, it looks kind of light. The blush gave me a nice flush color on my cheeks, but I could see where it might pull orange on some skin tones.

And I have to give a shout-out to that Armani #02 eye pencil - man, it doesn't go anywhere, even with my eyes tearing the way they have been lately.......I hope those come back. I also have the black one, but am thinking about maybe picking up the green one as well. These go on like butta!!

HG -- I say the same thing (I don't need this, I don't need this) -- haha -- it doesn't work for me all that well either. Oh, wow, you backed up Joyeuse?? I have one on my watch list on Ebay. Guess I really need it from all you ladies say!

Elegant -- I know -- that first Dior bronzer made my heart skip a beat . . . and the pink gloss. I think I read that they were coming out in Summer, but didn't specify. We need specifics!

MisQQ -- You'll have to let me know if you get the Guerlain. I don't own anything Guerlain either, but the packaging is always amazing!! I totally got sucked in the pattern and the packaging on that Dior bronzer in the pic. But yes, counting down to the summer Chanel collection for sure!

Katred -- I know what you mean -- I have medium cool toned skin and it can still be tricky to find that right shade of bronzer. That Dior one with the pink looks right up my alley as well as the Chanel Rose Bronze. They just look so darn pretty

^^ I have two guerlain's kiss l/s, a gloss and a quad, but none of them moved me probably because I'm not picking out the star products from the brand. The strong fruity scent in their lip pdts turns me off. But yeah, I'm eagerly waiting their summer collection and hope they work on me. Will keep you updated!

I have Shiseido #407, which is a really pretty pinky tone with blue-ish iridescence - it's not garish at all, just a bit of color. I love these! I have a couple of the RD ones as well - they're always in my purse!

lol I'm staying strong and not getting a Joyeuse backup. Thanks, you're right! that is a blessing in disguise as I have more money for chanel, and the shiseidos! I'm falling for them. Yes #407 has a stunning blue duochrome! Does the pink shows up on your lips? The pink is very light. All the l/s in the line look gorgeous, even the orange one.

^^ Yes, the pink shows up a bit - it's more of a glowy-glossy kind of look - hard to describe. At first it's pink, but as it wears it's just more glow than anything else. I'll have to check out that orange one - I'm not an orange lipstick girl, but if it's sheer, I can probably pull it off. I know many years ago I had a Lancome lipstick that was rather orange - it was beautiful on the lips, though, so maybe this will be similar.

I too used to use a lot of Lancome lipsticks - I'll have to go check these out this week. I'm actually taking W-F off to burn vacation I have to take before the quarter ends, so I plan to do some swatching and shopping.

Sounds like I need this! I think we have an Armani counter here -- need to check on that! My right eye always waters -- so my liner runs in the inner corner --- drives me nuts! I have like a million black liners -- and really need a good dark brown one. I'm hitting the mall in a few hours (with my girls), so this should be an expensive trip! And yes, we are in deep trouble with that Dior collection! I just want to hold that bronzer and look at it

Thank you everyone. Yes this is my first grandbaby. He's due to arrive April 5th but the dr thinks it may be earlier. My son will be 28 on the 23rd so his little one could possibly arrive right around his b-day. Spring is a great time to have a baby. My daughter is a Dec. baby and it is so not fun being pregnant in the summer especially with the humidity here. I really feel for my mother as I was born in Sept.

Katred I don't use bronzers either but I agree that first one is gorgeous. I love the woven pattern.

Totally off topic but I really don't like the applicators that Dior puts in their e/s palettes.

^^ Hi shadow! I don't like the dior sponge applicators too. The same goes with chanel's. I just keep them in a clean bag so I can use them for skin swatching. The dior summer quints don't look like anything I need. But the Nude Glow Healthy fluid and enhancer looks interesting! Anyone knows what they're supposed to be for? And the lighter bronzer looks beautiful!

Bonitinha if you find any Armani pencils grab them! you will stop the running for sure, I even swim in them .. and they stay on. Only thing that gets them off is an oil based remover.

Both the bronzers this summer? I'm going to look at guerlain's too. I swatched the terracotta 4 for brunettes yesterday and it was impressive but expensive.

Shadow -- that is so exciting about your grandbaby! You'll have to keep us posted. I don't use the sponge applicators either -- or the little brushes that come with the Chanel blushes. I give them to my girls to play with and they are thrilled

Thanks MissQQ -- my shopping expedition wasn't as long as I hoped. But it is just too cute to see my girls at the mall -- they love a good shopping trip. It always means I get stuck in Claire's (one of my least fave stores) with them -- but they go with me to the MAC counter. My almost 12 year old can't wait until I let her wear makeup. I really want that light Dior bronzer. I wish they had it out already!

HG -- I never made it to the Armani counter, but it is on my "to do" list this week. Honestly, today I looked at my liner and it all smudgey around my right inner corner. Always. I need that Armani liner that doesn't budge -- I don't care how much it costs lol

[/quote] I got mine as well (purely for the name ) I love the colour on my lips, but the texture stays wet on my lips if the makes sense and I feel it's a bit gritty. But the colour is juicy hotness. Congratulations shadowaddict. Aries is a great zodiac sign I think I am relative safe from the Chanel bronzers, but I might cave and get the EL bronzer with the starfish. :shock:
