I think I am relative safe from the Chanel bronzers, but I might cave and get the EL bronzer with the starfish.

I almost went to the EL counter to get that *adorable* starfish bronzer. But I will probably get the light Dior bronzer and the Chanel Roze Bronze, so I didn't get the EL one. Who knows , though -- I haven't been one to use much restraint lately!

I've been thinking about that Dior bronzer too! I would love to see it swatched alongside the chanel bronzer.Funny thing is, I don't really ever use the 1 bronzer I do have.

^^I don't use bronzer that often either because usually they are too orange-y for me. I am hoping the Dior and Chanel have enough pink to give a bronzed flush! I am keeping my fingers crossed :) But I have been obsessed with the idea of bronzer recently -- maybe my inner J-Lo wants to come out??

I use bronzer a lot, right through the year. I generally use it on the cheeks with a pale pink blush over it. I'm eager to see the Chanel one's in person!

Winthrop, I can't believe you already have peonies peaking through! I do realize you're quite a bit south of me, but with the weather we've had this winter, it feels like spring is never going to arrive! Yet I'm already in spring/summer mode, which generally tends to happen at this time every year. My make-up has gone lighter and I'm already stocking up on nice bright summery tees! Hubby also got me another Pandora bracelet, which I've decided to fill with teal, imo the ultimate summer colour!
Thanks exactly why I like the EL bronzer, it seems to have quite a bit of pink in it. But honestely, I do not need either of them. Maybe I should start betting what I will get ;)

I was not a bronzer girl till a month ago or so, when I got the Bobbi Brown's Bronzer in Natural. It is the perfect shade for me since it didn't actually show up like only my face was at the beach or exposed to the sun, but gives that little "touch" of good colour. I use it all over my face ver very softly applied and then, as stv does, I combine it with some coral or pinkish blush on the apple of my cheeks. I guess Chanel's would be more of a blush-bronzer thing, although I have to see the swatches or swatch it myself to eventually confirm my hypothesis! Anyway, I use to get a bit tan in summer, so I guess that I will be using it as a blush anyway ...

... it is painful to talk about summer when it is heavily raining outside
I am sending some of the sun I have your way, no one should have rain :frenz: The kind of bronzer you describe is the one I am looking for. Bronzed does not really suit me, but a touch of colour to brighten would be very nice. To me the Chanel bronzers also look like a blush bronzer, but I guess that's why I am interested in them.

Almus -- I haven't seen BB's bronzers -- I will have to check them out. We are not having the best weather, either. But I am still breaking out my Spring stuff :)

Bis -- Love the idea of a blush bronzer. I am really hoping that the Chanel or Dior bronzers will give this effect. Enjoy your sun!

Nora -- what bronzers have you found that worked? I think I am so ready for Spring/Summer!

Almus I have the BB bronzer in light 1, and also the Antigua "bronzer" which is not a bronzer at all but a pinky/peach blush for me.. I also have CD bronzers.. from the Blonde to the no. 2 which I rarely wear. I am so into bronzers now, I will get the Rose bronze coming up and possibly another.

I have read many wonderful things about BB's blush-bronzers in Antigua and Maui that I am considering in taking a look on them =)

I also have the two pink BB "bronzers" Maui and Antigua. They are both very very pretty blushes.

Michelle, atm I use MAC's MSF in Sunny By Nature, which is not your usual shimmery MSF. It's stunning, but I have to be careful when combining it with blush, because I can only combine it with cooler pinks or else it'll go too orange! On it's own, it does a terrific job at warming up my complexion, but I am very olive toned. It was LE, but if they ever repromote it, I'll be getting another one. I also have MAC's bronzer in golden, which is probably a very safe bet for lighter skintones.

In the past I have tried BB's, which I found are really nice and natural, but I've always had an issue with BB's face products and their staying power.

The starfish actually looked like it might suit me. Plus, it's cute as heck.

Bonitinha- Is this collection already out where you are? I haven't seen it in Canada yet...

Katred -- the Bronze Goddess collection from EL hit here a few weeks ago. I had the Starfish blush/bronzer in my Macy's cart online and it is already sold out!! I will just have to hit up the department store counters by me that carry EL. They have it on the EL website also (but do they ship to Canada??) I have been going back and forth about it and the other bronzers I have been wanting. But I do think the EL is more of a glowy blush, so I think I might end up picking it up! It is so cute

I think So Ceylon was a lot more shimmery, if my memory serves me right. Sunny By Nature is definitely not shimmery. I have tried just about every bronze MAC msf, and it's the only one that I actually use!

Try Golden, it is a really good staple to have.

I got that EL Bronzer. Gorgeous! I am fair and don't like "traditional" bronzers. I like a bit of warmth but I don't like brown on my face. This looks more like a healthy glow on me.

I had a CD liquid bronzer/tm that I loved. Can't remember the name of it but it was perfect. I had a shade called Blonde. Of course it has since been dc'd.

I think I am relative safe from the Chanel bronzers, but I might cave and get the EL bronzer with the starfish.
