[/quote] That's the one that reminded me of an orangey version of She Gold. It's sheer with really pretty shimmer. I will probably end up getting it....it's something a little different. The grey in the quad looks like a sage green on my hand in my bathroom light. I just played around a little using the "grey" and beige on one eye and the light and dark greens on the other and really loved both. But I'm not sure how universally appealing it'll be, I kind of feel like it's made for my coloring.

Also, am I the only one who has no idea how to pronounce these names? I'm like "I'll take this one" so I don't end up sounding like a moron.

I'm also wondering if I should get the bronzer or Guerlain's Inca or terracotta bronzer. Can't wait to see them in person!

Thanks for the descriptions Winthrop! I pre-ordered my stuff last night - my MUA said it will be here next week. I pre-ordered Bronze Rose, Rose Platine, Pink Peony and the quad. I'm now considering Aurore........eek.

I also came home with Canotier, Bel Ami and Bon Heur RCS - the others didn't swatch that great on me, but I was really liking Deauville too - quite pretty! Canotier is gorgeous!! Will be great with on its own or on top of something else.

The other 'tip' the MUA gave me was to use a lip pencil like Nude, Tulip or Pink Sugar as you normally would, but bring it inside the lips, except for the pout area - then use the lipshine in the pout. That's what they did for this promo photo -

For the nail polishes the color is more accurate in the picture on the countertop. Beige petale has more color to it than it looks in the pic of my arm...where the tape is creating more wrinkles than I really have! Although now that I look at them again I think Morning Rose looks more color accurate in my arm swatch. lol I think Karla and Sabrina's jobs are safe, eh?

The texture and pigmentation of each and every one of the shadows is DIVINE!!!

Thanks for great pics, winthrop! MR looks stunning! I love the light green and taupe in the quad. I'm with bis, I hope the pigmentation for the baked quad is just as good. Do you have Jade Rose? How close is beige petale compared to JR?

Don't have Jade Rose, sorry. I can tell you that it's more Beige than Allegoria (which looks peachy next to it) and less pink than Magnolia Rose tho.

Hi Winthrop - they didn't have the collection yet - so I didn't see the Rose Platine, but it looks like a rosy aluminum color in the swatch she showed me, if that makes sense......if I get to see it soon and no one else has, I'll report back.

Morning Rose is soooooo pretty! I don't want to wait 5 weeks

I really want to see a swatch of the eye pencil. From the pic, I would think that it would have some rose coloring to it, but then maybe thats just the taupey color showing.???
