what the freak?! not cool! i was going to call them in the morning to ask the same thing! how can i wait so long for such a pretty quad?!I just rang a Chanel counter in debenhams and was told the release date is May 20th for the UK!

cool. i will still call my chanel lady - she gave me her card last time so i can call her about this summer collection! lets hope that person got it wrong! i had extra money in my make up savings account for this quad! and i wanted to spend it this month!!And the bronzerI'm going town on tuesday and I think I'll ask a couple other counters - fingers crossed the ma got the date wrong!

^^ C! A chromaline NC15-20 pencil would also work well for you on the tip thingie.. if you have one of those around - I have not used this on my eyes as my eyes are a bit allergic to them but it works well on the mouth if you want to create the illusion of a larger.. aka BIG mouth.. lol.

I am making my first trip to Vegas at the end of this month. Managed to get a day out there by myself before DBF gets there so I am headed to the Pro store and a Ricky Martin concert.

i have never really bought anything from the limited edition collections so i am not sure how long it takes until they would sell out!

What does Canotier look like on you?
It's a nice neutral on me - I don't have really pigmented lips, so it's sort of a 'sexy' summery look on me. When that's not the look I'm going for
, I'll use it with other colors. It's the multi-color sparkle that got me.
And I LOVE Deauville. That will be my next one unless my head is turned by another......I also swatched the LM gel lipstics - they're nice - I think Rosewood is my favorite. I obviously haven't experimented with them on my lips, but they seems a bit more 'tacky' than any of the others we have (Dior, Shiseido, Chanel). By that I mean that the consistency seems just a bit thicker....really kind of hard to describe. No shimmer at all, so that may account for the difference in texture.

I agree with you. I will still be wearing the shines in fall, and buying the new lipsticks if they aren't drying. I live in the tropics and technically there aren't 4 seasons, but only 2 monsoon seasons, I like to follow some of the seasonal makeup and clothing trends just to enjoy the imaginary seasons. I love wearing other lipsticks over the Shines a lot as it softens it. I did CYY over Joyeuse & it made it wearable & really pretty.

Just got back from the Chanel counter....I picked up Mimosa and Pensee. Maybe by the end of the week I will go back for Sari D'eau.
