Love the science of makeup! Thanks for sharing - makes complete sense! My product pics generally turn out quite true to life when I take them at home; a combination of lighting and angle, I suppose. I should've adjusted the flash level with the Fafi.

I just spotted the first Fafi products on eBay. Wanted to order them right away, but the seller doesn't ship them until feb. 10th.

I'm so excited for this collection. The dutch MA's are getting their training this week. When I go to the counter for the N-collection I think I'll make an appointment to get my MU done when Fafi is released, I've never done that before, seems like fun!

Sounds great. Except I am super disappointed that most of the lipsticks are glazes. I hate that finish so much - the colour is so sheer I would rather just wear a lipgloss. Lame.

this collection is definitely coming out on Feb 13th and you can preorder it now. i went to the MAC counter yesterday to purchase some brushes and while i was paying, the manager told me if i knew about the new collection that was coming out and i said yeah. she said how i knew and i said online. she asked me if i wanted to see the collection but i said no because i was in a hurry to get home. i wished i have seen it.
if you don't have time on Feb 13th to look and pick up some things from the collection and know what you want, go do your preorder at your local counter now. make sure you ask them if they are doing a preorder.

Thanks makeupmag for the color description. As pretty as I think the collection looks, if these colors are even close to the colors Risser said would be in the China collection, I will be buying very little. That makes me sad!
