Hypathya, I don't like the scent of Chanel lipsticks. I'm really sensitive to that. Mac is like the only lipstick I enjoy wearing.

Ohh, I want to get the fall collection so bad!! But I've purchased quite a few new clothes and shoes this past week, so now I reallllly gotta wait until next month to free up some funds.

Darn that Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters! Oh, and Gilt Groupe...that's where the sandals are from! I may not be workin', but I still gotta be stylin'!

Aww, thank you!!

I really can't wait to post some looks with the Enigma quad. I did a serious cleanout of my MAC stuff today, and I think I may skip In The Groove. I just don't use my mineralize products. I like the regular powder blushes and the finer powder blushes Chanel has. I may still try to B2M for the purple lippie, though.

Same here, and there's a few things from Paul & Joe I want to try out...glosses, powders, etc...

I'm just going to get a couple of the pigments. I can reasonably avoid pretty much everything until Felines. Even then, there's only a few things I want from that.

Of course that all may change since I'm planning on hitting the lottery soon.

I'm confused about the two Lumieres Facettes quads posted here. I only have Oasis, which is not my favourite quad unfortunately. Pinky coppery shades don't flatter me.

About Illusiion D'Or... in my shop (in all the shops here around) has not come yet. Moreover, NV has come last week, instead of a month ago! I just hope IdO would follow soon!

I'll try to explain better for you dear:

Chanel makes two kinds of quads. One is Le Quatre Ombres, wich is the baked, round (Euro version) regular kind. The other one it's the Lumieres Facettes, non baked and squared shaped (Euro version). The difference between them, I guess, it's the formula. As I said, the LF ones have a sheen/sparkle that comes within, without the presence of notorious sparkle/glitter. They are only launched in summer collections. Since 2003 Chanel has released: 56 Spotlight, 58 Lagoons, 59 Gold Rush, 517 Oasis and 527 Plein Soleil.

Hi everyone! Hope all of you enjoyed your weekend, glad to see you all back!

I'm fighting the insomnia monster tonight/this morning and decided it was a good time to order some Chanel stuff, you know...because it will totally help me sleep.

Anyway, Enigma, Paradoxal and Pink Explosion are on their way to me now! I decided to wait on the lip stuff as I want to see them in person to make my final choices (they all look so gorgeous, I just can't pick and choose yet). Super excited to get everything.

Hey, by the way...has anyone sniffed Chance? I'm terrible with scent descriptions, but I'd love to know what this one is like. I keep meaning to smell it when I'm at the counter and totally forget when there. Something about all of that gorgeous make-up requires my full attention I guess.

I only saw the last two quads before. I wore Oasis a lot when I just bought it but hardly now. I had very limited e/s then, so I guess I could say I enjoyed Oasis for a while, at least.

How do you ladies find Chanel brushes? I have a few of them and they are rather good, except for 2 or 3 of them that keep on shedding.

I love the new email from Chanel - they call it a 'collection', but its only the new mascara & 1 of the new duos - the black/grey one.
It does say that the rest is coming soon.

I didn't realize that the duos are $42!!!

That's just a lil pricey.

Well, last time I've fallen in love with a Chanel palette was the Noirs Obscure quad. Then I went to the shop for swatching it on my skin (and buying it, of course, the idea was that!) and discovered it consisted of just 4 greyish colours. I am pale, so not pigmented colours are useless.
Remember to check the coverage of those e/s before buying them
