It's awkward, because mine have never, ever lost a single hair. I must tell all, that handles are not wood but plastic. No one has ever broken or scratched, though.

That's pricey!! I wonder how much product it actually is, in order to compare with the single eyeshadow and the quads.
hmm.gif

I don't consider myself expert, but experienced.

I still love my MAC

I appreciate ALL the great information that you give us!

And, your adorable sweet personaltiy

It kind of looks like they may be slightly larger than the squares in the quads, but hard to tell.

I only have 2 Chanel brushes - the Kabuki (everyone should own this one & its fairly cheap) & a blush brush. They're very nice.

Still love my MAC too, but crave the Chanel.

I have no doubt that they will keep the Le Coton pads as they sold out so darn fast with both launches. I hope

Hey, I started using that eye cream too (line repair) 3 days now. I like it so far. It seems to "plump" the skin making it appear more smooth, & it has the diffusing particles in it. I think it also (for me) helps with mild puffiness.
I'm really liking the Day cream, which I am alternating with the lift cream.

I'm sorry Elegant! Honestly, I still find it strange that this one counter had it on display, only to sell me the last one, considering it was released last summer and I really don't recall seeing it elsewhere (I'll have to ask at my regular counter!). The reason I like it so much is because most neutrals end up looking ruddy on me, let alone greys and even some plums, which is why I generally use some sort of colour on my lids. But lately, I haven't been too motivated to be all that creative with my e/s!!!

I have both and I prefer Eau Tendre by far. I've had it since April and cannot stop wearing it. I get compliments on it everyday. It's very fresh yet sofisticated, that's the best I can describe it

On our trip last weekend, I said, wow what on earth smells SO good? Hubby says is it the food? (we take goodies to the kids) sure honey...its the food

then I remembered that I shaved my legs & used the Firming Moisture Milk cream on them. The sun was hitting my legs & it smelled so lovely.

The Kabuki (Le Petit) it's adorable!! So soft and luxurious!! Never looses it's shape!! I always carry it in my purse, as it's great for blending. As you said, it's not that expensive and great value for your money. It was my very first Chanel brush and still in perfect shape... as if new!! Sadly, the double CC print on the bottom was gone after a few uses.

What blush brush you have?? The #5 or #7? I have two #5. The number 5 it's amazing for contouring!! It's angled and stiff, but really soft and not at all scratchy. Its really firm and not plane, which it's perfect for blending.

Now that I think about it... Euro brushes and US brushes are quite different. My ferrules are silver instead of gold. And I wonder if the numbers, shapes and the rest of the materials are the same.

Yes, the Petit is such a soft adorable handy brush. I have the #7. A Chanel lady gave it to me for free when I placed an order from a different Saks counter at Christmas

Hey girlies!

My family just left today, so I'm pooped! I've been lurking when I have a few minutes but am lacking sufficient energy to dive into my new stash to take photos....I have to go to work tomorrow (my commute is about 1 1/2 hours each way) so I probably won't get to anything until Friday or maybe Saturday. With all of the preparations for their visit, and having 10 people in my house for 5 days, I wish I had taken the rest of the week to recover!!
winks.gif

I've enjoyed keeping up with everything - also, Nordie's has the UCLR line up on their site (it's supposed to be for anniversary). I'm going to get a couple of the products - the serum, the eye cream and the night cream to augment what I'm already using. I have some Nordstrom Bonus dollars (or whatever they're called) so that will make a good dent in the total.

I am so lemming the Plein Soleil, and can't find it anywhere. I did find out, though, that the Variations quad is supposed to be close. I have Variations and I just don't see it, based on photos of PS. Oh well. I have enough to keep me occupied for awhile. Tomorrow I'm going to wear the Spices quad along with Venus glossimer (other face elements non-Chanel) - looking forward to that after almost a week of no makeup.

Hope you ladies have had a good weekend/week thus far - Meg and stv578 (is it Allison?), I hope you're getting some well-deserved shut-eye

I'll be back on the boards soon!!

Edit - and my dog is in the hospital with elevated liver enzymes,
cry.gif
so I'm really worried about him. In all likelihood it's something he ate, but we won't know until sometime tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed that he eats his breakfast tomorrow - that way he'll get to come home tomorrow afternoon -

Thank you all! I'm sure he will be fine - we think he got into something (our lab has taught him the bad habit of getting into trash) - but I sure do miss him being around........

Elegant dear: You totally tempted my into trying the Body Excellence Revitalizing Smoothing Scrub and the BE Firming Moisture Milk.
yes.gif

After sitting in my stash of samples for a long, long time...I use them both on my night shower and OMG!!
yahoo.gif
My skin it's so soft!!
th_e2cloud9.gif
I can't stop touching my elbows, my skin!! It's so soft and velvety!! This is pure goodness!!
love.gif

The milk's texture is soooo delightful, not at all greasy but seriously moisturizing. It absorbs so quickly and the scent it's just delicious!!
love.gif

Thanks elegant!!

Shontay:
I tested my Chanel Kohl today. Surprisingly, I only have one, an aqua.
icon_eek.gif

It's really nice, the texture it's a bit hard but it applies on waterlines without any trouble (the chromagraphic are more creamy). The shade I own, Aqua it's really light and has a golden sheen (golden metalic particles really finely milled, I had to see them using a 10x mirror), gorgeous!!
love.gif
Well, you already know I have a huge weakness for aquas, teals and turquoise shades
greengrin.gif
. Anyway I applied it at 11 am this morning and by 8 pm it was still there. I was worn out a bit, but definitely there.

I'm having problems staying logged in so I can't multi quote as I read. I'm going to have to try my best to recall.

BE Firming moisture milk smells good!
yes.gif
I have a few tubes of samples but I'm too lazy to moisturise my body so I hardly ever use them.

Ok I have The Kabuki (Le Petit) but it sheds like crazy! Chanel only have one kabuki right? Then that must be the one. How do you wash your brushes? I either use baby shampoo or MAC brush cleanser daily, so my brushes get wet and a good scrub daily. Could I be damaging my brushes?
th_dunno.gif
My Chanel brushes have the silver ferrule and like Hypathya said, the printing of the word Chanel doesn't disappear my MAC's and the number is actually engraved in the handle.
thmbup.gif

I will give the number of all my Chanel brushes when I get home. I have the short handle set from last Christmas too!
smiles.gif

The fall collection pic on makeupandbeauty blog is gorgeous!
th_drool.gif
The glossimiers, Taupe Grise and Pink Explosion are beautiful. Petite Peche looks like Bikini Peach to me.
