Yeah, they sort of force you to be more choosey, don't they? I plan to skip those. I ordered a bunch of Fall from NM this morning. I was hoping to order from Chanel because I find NM shipping so pokey but who knows when they'll ever put it up. I got the quad, Pink Explosion, Rose Dentelle, Coral Love, Rose Dilemma and Paradoxal.

Forgot to mention...I got my Venus the other day and love it. Thanks to everyone who raved about it!

Yes the duos are expensive, which is why I'm still haven't buy it yet. I may pick up the taupe one.

I just checked out the Chanel US website and the duos are all gone except for the black/grey one. And on the Asia English website all are gone except for the brown one.

I think Chanel is updating the website now.

I have the quad and I like it a lot. Use it with a dark base, like MAC grease paintsticks or any black or brown eye pencil smudged on the lids. They become an intense black with iridescent green/blue/brown.

Got an email today from Chanel.com about the new eyeshadow duos

I haven't seen them in person -- but was so glad to hear that one side is a powder cream (I thought it was just going to be a cream shadow -- which is a nightmare for my oily lids!!) and the other side is a matte. Cannot wait to try them out!!

If you're talking about the regular Chance, I have it and love it. I always get compliments when I'm wearing it. It's a really nice, light, crisp scent. I'd like to get Chance Eau Tendre, also...but I have a few new perfumes on my want list, and I told myself I need to finish off a couple of perfumes before I get anything new. I have been getting samples of things at Sephora to tide me over, though.

Yep, I agree NM is slow - EXCEPT when I wanted to leave last weekend, they shipped my item right away & it came while we were gone. Thought I timed that right counting on them being slowwww

That is a really nice haul!!! I can't wait to hear what you think. I'm still waiting on my Rose Dentelle & Dilemma to arrive. "dilemma" <-- that sounds like such an odd name for a ls

So far, I've only seen the black/grey one. I will get the Taupe for sure because thats what they used on those models & I loved how it looked on. Maybe the Black/grey too

Then I think $84 for 2 (4) eyeshadows -

I love cream to powder items. They last/wear very well.

Thanks, elegant. I never had an cream to powder products before. Yeah, but these are very pricey.

Megan, I love the original Chance, but only on paper and not on me. It smells sour on me unfortunately.

I love it on my friend too, so I think it smells great on some people but just not on me. I like Chance Eau Fraiche as well and luckily it smells good on me as it is on paper.

Good afternoon everyone!

Day 2 with Plein Soleil and love it even more. I adore this quad as far as neutrals go. It can easily go with peach or pink lips/cheeks and as Hypathya mentioned, the colours aren't overtly shimmery, but have a nice sheen to them. Makes my eyelids look... younger?! Or would that be the new eye cream I'm using...???!!! Eitherway, I'm happy!

Yay! Let us know what you think of everything. I wouldn't hesitate to order those items unseen as well (not that we can order Chanel here), but definitely will need to look at all the lip colours in person.

Hey, I started using that eye cream too (line repair) 3 days now. I like it so far. It seems to "plump" the skin making it appear more smooth, & it has the diffusing particles in it. I think it also (for me) helps with mild puffiness.
I'm really liking the Day cream, which I am alternating with the lift cream.

What is that -we are moving away from MAC & loving the pricier Chanel. We must be women of luxury

I will never ever use another skincare line, I love theirs so much. Well, my skin loves Chanel.

Oooh man, thanks so much!! That sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I'm gonna smash a sticky note on my debit card to remind me about it for the next time I'm at a counter...I can't ever walk away empty handed so I'm sure I'll see it.

I can't wait for everyone to start getting their Fall collection goodies, I always love hearing what you all think of things!

Its weird because everyone says that their eye creams do so much but then you hardly notice anything happening

This one seemed to make the eye area look a little more moisturized (plumped) like the skin is more smooth. I noticed that it made my top lid look taught instead of puffy when I was tired yesterday.

They have sample tubes of this - grab it! They also have sample tubes of the new Line Repair day cream with spf15.

I LOVED the Line repair serum when I tried it the other day. It also made my skin look moisturized/plump/youthful - well, at least on the back of my hand

holy cow! - NM has just sold out of the Le Coton Pads

They are now on backorder. That was fast.

I always leave a bunch of "I Wants" in my cart & go back periodically to add to it

& noticed they were sold out.

Sorry I can't help you with Chance. Although I have samples of the three versions of it, as you, I'm terrible when it comes to describing scents!!

My best advice to you it's try it yourself. No matter how gorgeous a perfume smells in the bottle, you'll never know how it'll fit you until you try it on your own skin!!

It's awkward, because mine have never, ever lost a single hair. I must tell all, that handles are not wood but plastic. No one has ever broken or scratched, though. The Chanel silver printing along with the number has never erased a bit, in contras with my MAC ones, that always end loosing both the name and number after some time.

I don't consider myself expert, but experienced. Although, some of my Chanel items are from before 2000, I've been consistently buying Chanel cosmetics from 2003 and never missed a collection since then. I've tested almost, if not everything they've launched in all this time. When you ask about shades and products all I have to do it's pull out a drawer, dig a bit into my inventory or try to remember, in case I never purchase the item or no longer have it.

I've not yet tested the "line repair" line ... I hope my skin loves it as much as it's loving yours and the other girls. I really hope it does!!

I still love my MAC or even my NYX or my Revlon nailpolishes!!

In fact, I'm having soooo much fun with MAC lately... When I was at graduate school never had the time to chase the collections and only bought some random items. I've missed sooo much in the past... Now I have the time to visit counters and enjoy myself. I know probably it won't last, unless I win the lottery... but as long as it lasts I'll enjoy myself!! When time comes to cosmetic expenses I'm sure Chanel will be the survivor one... even if it's only lipstick!!

I don't know if any of you have tried or use the Body Excellence, but it is also wonderful & the smell is so divine!

I use:
Body Excellence Revitalizing Smoothing Scrub - great for feet. legs & elbows
Body Excellence Firming Moisture Milk <----LOVE this

On our trip last weekend, I said, wow what on earth smells SO good? Hubby says is it the food? (we take goodies to the kids) sure honey...its the food

then I remembered that I shaved my legs & used the Firming Moisture Milk cream on them. The sun was hitting my legs & it smelled so lovely.
