It's funny that y'all are talking about Mothers in law - mine just celebrated her 75th b'day - we all got together for brunch (my husband has a sister)....it was fun, but I definitely have issues with mine too. Elegant, you're a model for us to look up to! Sometimes I think having boys is different - my son's girlfriend (who just broke up with him
) and I were kindred spirits - I loved her. Oh well, stuff happens, and life goes on.

I know, I've already waited more than half the total "Chanel waiting" time... There's been ages since I bought my last Chanel piece!!
Today we finally had a sunny morning!!

I guess I am not the only one in that situation with the MIL! Oh well, we make the best of it, right??
You are such an enabler

Ssssshhhhhh!
So funny on the "new list" we ALL always have a mental running list of something going on in our heads.

that is so funny dear!
Doing a new office is exciting & fun. And the lace - Beautiful! I LOVE lace. If you do that I want to see what it looks like.
Yep, my MIL (rip) never liked me
crazy control freak she was. I swore (& told my DIL)I would never ever treat her the way I was treated.

You're the funniest, elegant!!
I love lace so much!!
When I got married I did my own garter with tatting lace!!
I can't say my MIL doesn't like me, but I'm sure she'd preferred her son would never marry and stay with her for the rest of her days. Even when we've known each other for 7 or so years, she never cared to learn my name. She did when I was a few months married. Anyway, I think people and situations are in our life for a very good reason so I try my best not to do a big deal of this.

So I may not be around as much, although I do find your company very uplifting and something to help me get my mind off things. I am so crazy about this dog - we adopted him when he was 6 (he's 9 now) and though he isn't the friendliest dog in the world, he loves me. I have spoiled him. He 'bays' (I call it woo-wooing) when I prompt him - he even does it when our lab tries to bay - they woo-woo together and I am just doubled over laughing!
So anyway, let me see what I can do about a comparison.......stay tuned.

Honey, I'm so deeply sorry to read this terrible news.
I believe things happen for a very good reason and that everything has a purpose in our lives.
I just hope you stay strong, until your baby leaves you; that you make the most of the time you have left with him (Hercules, right?), that you'll be wise enough to let him go at a right moment; that you'll be able to say goodbye in a loving, meaningful and fulfilling way, and that you'll come to us when in need of love and support. Keep us posted and rejoice yourself in the love you two still can share. I love you and send you all my best.

So we can grow stronger, wiser, happier, better... So we can fulfill our destinies, learn the lessons, grow compassion, ...
