I must check to see if I have Sweetness - for some reason I don't think I do, but then I think, how can that be?

It's PINK!!!

I have to go into the office tomorrow, so makeup is a must - I think I'll keep it simple with the Taupe/Delicat duo, a nude-y lip like Myself

and maybe Orchid Rose..

Makeup dreams....wow.....I can't say I've ever had one of those - but wish I did! My dreams seem to center around travel...I'm always somewhere besides home, and either forgetting a suitcase, missing a plane, losing my purse, or having my car stolen.
th_crazy.gif

That combo sounds so pretty & natural - love it!

Ahh, I would be so surprised if you do not have Sweetness
nope.gif
Yes LVER is so so delicate & pretty. Now I want the peach one. When I went to Sephora this weekend - they were sold out of the peach/ They are always sold out of everything I either want to buy or swatch
angry.gif

My hubby has those same kind of dreams

Minus getting a purse stolen/lost

Sephora is always sold out of a lot of things - they drive me batty sometimes. I end up ordering online after I've swatched something in the store......and the store near me is always a mess. The gondolas are just a disaster. I must check out the peach one next time - I ordered Chanel Coral Fire from the ebay seller and can't wait to get it -

I decided on Dainty blush for my look tomorrow - that is such a pretty blush!

I did find my Sweetness

- I often lose track of color names these days.

I know the feeling.

So its not just my sephora. They NEVER seem to have what I want in stock. Heck, they didn't even have the tester for the TF Peach Blush, which at least that would've helped so I don't have to order site unseen.
angry.gif
after driving all that way too

Oooh, you got Coral Fire - I cannot wait to hear what you think of it. I was really lemming Iced Plum

I was lemming that one too.....but I thought it might be too much like Plum Attraction, which is just too dark on me. The other one I was interested in was Natural Pink (I think that was the name) - the ebay seller said that it was similar to Pink Satin in terms of shimmer, but had more peach in it. I may cave. I just love the finish of Pink Satin.....can't wait for my backup to get here!

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

My Sephora always has things in stock and that's shocking considering it's one of the more popular stores in that mall. The problem is, they take a loooooong time getting new stuff it seems. If something pops up online, I'll be better off ordering it in most cases, than waiting for them to get it. The store is huge. Go figure.

My Sephora is about 40 minutes away. Unless I need something in my hot little hands immediately, or I want to swatch, I usually order from online. Guarantees I don't waste a trip on an item that is out-of-stock, plus I get samples!

I have been wanting it for a while, but it was sold out on the Chanel site long ago. I have seen it brought up a few times on this board -- so I just picked up the phone and had Nordstrom send it to me. I love pinky peach glosses --- and that was seems like it is more pigmented than some of their other peachy glosses. Can't wait to get it
th_DANCE.gif

You will love it. It is pigmented and there are gold shimmers.

Thank you! Now that I see them, I did looked at them when you posted the links previously.

It is just slightly paler than my skintone, so maybe NC/NW15?

I have read some people like to scrape up the top of the baked JCs a bit with the brush that comes in it. Those black brushes are quite stiff so I can see where that would be helpful. Anyway it never got good reviews on MUA:

I have a feeling I might fall with Cassis, Vert Khaki and maybe the flesh coloured eyeliner (I really don't need it because I'm perfectly happy with my Illamasqua Vow and Mac NC15/NW20 pencil, but it could be fun to try it out, you know, for comparison reasons

).

Oh, I am sure I will appreciate it

The Illamasqua pencils also do not show up on my waterline.
Vert Khaki is save from me at least

She spilled the whole powder on a table and then put her both hands in to the glove, and then she - with hands first - did "dive" in to the powder. The rubbery spikes made the powder magically fly on both arms. Then you just shaked the excess off and you had the most perfectly powdered arms. It was so cool in the dream.

After that I went to some very high end boutique, with just a nightgown on, to look at diamonds.

I just love makeup related dreams!

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

Morning everyone!
winkiss.gif

I hope all of you enjoyed your weekends (and our Canadian friends enjoyed the holiday!).

Ok...I really want a few of these duos. Misty for sure, Taupe is a maybe (I MUST be able to dupe those colors, right?!?) and the Gris duo is really calling to the grey lover in me. I have to tighten the budget for a bit starting this month (for extra spending cash in Vegas!) and I'm so glad these are perm. I'll pick one up when I can and go from there.

New Glossimer of interest: Beige Guitare!
Swatch Link: Chanel Glossimer Lèvres Scintillantes #119 Wild Rose, #121 Beige Guitare, Spring 09 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Does anyone have this? From swatches I've seen and descriptions I've read (pinky-peach and multi colored) it sounds like a gloss I NEED to own. I'd love to know what any of you think who may have it.

Big hugs to all of you!

I am unaware that there is a new Stylo Yeux, Gris. Maybe we didn't get it? To be fair, we got the mascara and the eye lash curler, but not Gris?
th_dunno.gif
I will look out for it the next time I'm at the counter. I have three Stylo Yeux: Vert Bronze, Ebene and Cassis.

Marine looks gorgeous in her swatch.

Oh, I got home and swatch Clair le crayon khol again and it matches my skin tone. I think it really is more of NC/NW20, as Chanel names her NC20 foundations Clair.

I have seen in magazines like In Style that Sandra Bullock wears that glossimer. It looks gorgeous! She seems to rock it with a smokey eye. I bet it would be great paired with a nude lipstick. Let us know if you end up getting it!

I think Paillettes is officially on my list after coming across this swatch:

Have you guys ever depotted Chanel single eyeshadows? I thought about doing that, they have quite big packaging (even though gorgeous) so they take room and are a bit forgotten in the traincase because I usually grab one of my palettes. I'm also lusting the duos, maybe I could depot them too!

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

Megan and Michelle, both of those glossimers are gorgeous!

I also wanted to rave about Pink Explosion! As pink as this blush is, when I apply it lightly and build it up, it seems to actually looks fairly natural on my cheeks, not sure if it's due to my skin colour showing through. Just a quick rave, I'm glad I didn't skip this!

I also noticed though that it doesn't have as much of a strong rose scent to it. When I first opened up the Rose Bronze JC Karin CP'd for me, i remember the scent being quite powerful, but this morning for some reason it occurred to me that PE isn't like that and had to sniff the pan up close to see if it had the same scent! (Ya, wonder what DH would say about his wife sniffing blush, guess that would cement his belief that I have a problem!).

Re: Chanel Discussion & Must Haves

Those duos sure are pretty, but I'll be passing (unless I find an unlimited source of moolah). I might splurge for the Gris liner because that looks really unique and I've been looking for a color like that.
