The Chanel MA at Nordies yesterday was so amazing. She had beautiful red hair chin length with blunt short bangs, piercing blue eyes, milky skin, her makeup was a beautiful natural makeup look. But her voice was amazing - she was Lithuanian. I told her to just keep talking

She could seriously play a bad girl that romps with James Bond in a Bond movie.

She's the one that did all the gorgeous combos of the new duos.

I tried out the new Blue duo

The color is gorgeous - but it is smokey blue. The formulation of the duos is so soft kinda creamy but not creamy & they apply flawlessly on the skin - which is really good for us *cough* older ladies

I used the lighter blue at the inner corner, the darker blue mid lid up to crease & out, then I used the darker taupe from the Taupe duo just above the crease from inner eye to outer in an arch. Stunning!

Well, I guess that could be possible. My skin has a bit more pink undertones to it. But, I also thought at first that it would be too brown or muddy on & it isn't to my surprise. I also wonder again, if the lighting in the stores plays a part in the color as well.

Elegant -- you should post an FOTD on here with that look! Sounds amazing! What other combos did she tell you about with the duos?? I love how you described the texture . . . do you know when they'll be on Chanel.com?

I got my Tea Rose awhile ago from strawberrynet.com - think they still have it. I could be wrong but I don't think we ever got a US version.

She did the lighter shade of Misty with the darker gray, khaki & Berry, taupe & lighter side of berry, darker blue & khaki

I have no idea when chanel.com will get them. Maybe They will have them up Monday or sometime next week.

I forgot to say that I played with Paradoxical in Saks. It's gorgeous, but I didn't buy it. Maybe in a couple of weeks. I do have bills to pay.

So i went yesterday just for chatting with my Chanel MA. she let me look at her book while she was handling the other customer. i found out that Chanel Extrait de gloss & holiday gift set will come out on September 6 & holiday color collection will be on September 20.

then she gave me some new LR samples while we playing with some nail polishes. she gave me hard time that i never tried chanel n/p

Hi ladies! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Is tomorrow a holiday in the U.S.? No work for me tomorrow!

So I really wanna go back and get Rose Dentelle and also need to pick up a shade stick or paint from MAC to give my shadows a little extra oomph! I finished off my last Butternutty ss from Sugarsweet!

I also wore Pink Teaser today, I adore this gloss! It is so pretty all on its own and I'm considering my first back-up of a Chanel product!

I thought the same thing as well!!! I gotta say, the SA's at my Chanel counter never talk me out of anything!!! In fact, they're so quick to say, "why don't you get both?". At least at MAC they're often up front and honest if they feel that a certain colour isn't the greatest for my skintone.

I haven't tried RT on yet, but I do remember swatching it on my hand (which is quite a bit darker than my face) and thinking it didn't swatch as brown as i thought it would. It was more of a plummy neutral rose colour on me.

I put Pink Cloud on my cheeks today and it shows as a soft, and shimmery pink peach. It can't be used as a blush on me personally, I need more colour on me cheeks or I will look pale and sickly. It is beautiful, but I need to layer with another blush.

Also wore Chintz today and I love this! Beautiful colour that just lifts my spirits! So glad I got this instead of Rose Dentelle, but I think I will like RD too.

I need to try it again too. I swatched RT and Plum Attraction again today and PA was so dark! The cheeks on the model in the promo pic is so beautiful though, and that is achieved with RT, PA and PE according to the promo brochure of this collection.

Aaahhh! If you love Chintz, then chances are I will too! I think our skintones are quite similar and we seem to have similar issues with certain shades! But I have to be good and pick one or the other!

Funny though that the model is said to be wearing all three blushes... but of course!!!

Miss QQ, how pigmented are your lips and does your natural lip colour show through a bit with Chintz?

Yes, I thought our skintones are quite similar too. My lips are medium pigmented. I didn't wear any lip liner and just Chintz and topped off with a little Bikini Peach. Chintz is creamy enough to cover my natural lip colour, maybe just a bit showing but it didn't turn the lipstick brown, which is good. I think it will be prettier if I lined my lips with Natural lip liner first, which matches my lip colour.

Sorry I must have missed it. But I looked back to page 131 and can't find it. The link will be enabling me to get RT.

Oh yes, I also wore Clair in my waterline today and it is amazing. It brightens my eyes without looking unnatural, and my tired eyes are gone!

It applies smoothly without tugging too!

I went to Chanel today and asked if they could put Enigma and Taupe Grisé on hold for me, so when the collection releases in couple of weeks I could pick them up. They did, so I'm getting for sure and maybe something else too...
