Crap! I really want the Misty Mauve quint! I was hoping it would be one of the "not quite as awesome" quints, but of course it's not. Karla's swatches of it are gorgeous too! Must get this...somehow.

wow.. I just looked at Karla's swatches!! they are awesome double double.

I got the quint by search and seize cause I needed some high end comps

true true.. however from some stats I was reviewing, and based on inflationary figures, ALL prices for ALL cosmetics seem to be on the rise, especially for designer labels. It is a strange spending habit that people will buy a luxury item (i.e. Hermes profits were UP 27% !)

even if they have to buy cheaper underwear..lol

My wallet has seen too many westerns I am afraid, it sometimes thinks it's a sheriff and can boss me around and put up posters.
I will definitely swatch the CD quint when it arrives here.

Like you said, I have some mauves, but a blackened purple.. and some mauves. They should have skipped either the pink or the white.

When I received my Chanel order today, they also sent me one of those little spray tubes of Chance - I am love with it. I had the cream sample & I liked it too, but ahhhhhh what a soft feminine light touch.

If I remember correctly, someone asked about Irelle Blushes... They were discontinued and replaced for the Tweed ones. When they were dc'd, their most successful shades (Tea Rose and In Love) survived and were added to the JC line.

I just ordered a glossimer from the Chanel counter in Nordstrom from a different state. I thought shipping was complimentary -- but they charged me $10 for shipping. The MA never even quoted me a shipping price!

Darn it, Chanel is even doing free shipping + samples on their site right now. Oh well, live and learn!! It is just obvious that I need to move someplace that has a Chanel counter close by!

Edit: I called Nordies and they refunded my shipping charge! My faith in them is restored LOL

Kay so I'm really late on the Venus bandwagon but OMG I'M IN LOVE! I must admit I was skeptical at first because it was so pink but it looked so gorgeous on my NC45 skin. And the MUA said I looked sexy ;O.

And I spotted Pink Teaser which was accidentally on the display, it looked even more gorgeous in person so I slyly asked to purchase it but when she realized it was a fall colour she reprimanded me. She knows I know they're not out yet. Oh man better luck next time.

I have been feeling quite depressed, especially last week, but luckily I'm better now. Still feeling confused, and according to astrology, there are cosmic storms this early August. I'm not supposed to be affected much, as an Aquarius, so maybe it's just my personal struggles.

Fortunately, makeup is a good distraction. I brought Pink Teaser out today and wore it for the first time. It reminds me of a darker rose of Courtisane, or a less orange Venus. Can't wait to wear Rose Dilemma for the first time too!
