Hi! Well I used to "play around" with my mom's Chanel stuff long loooong ago, then I went through a quite long no-makeup period in my life and just a few months ago I am back in business!

Thankfully I came back from the dark era just in time for Particulaire and Genial

So, I would say I am a noob.

Oh Cheryl, this is so adorable!

I was so glad to hear that Herc is doing well. I just know that the 2 of you will share many more hand fed ice cube moments!

I love dogs so much. I wasn't able to have any growing up as my dad is really allergic, but I used to volunteer at an animal shelter 3 times a week for my dog fix! When I first started dating the hubby one of his dogs adopted me and was the animal love of my life. That sounds silly, but I'm sure all of you animal lovers know what I mean!

The hubby and I have wanted one of our own for such a long time, but with apartment living in Southern California we just didn't feel right about it. We'll be getting one pretty soon here as we actually have a beautiful large park area and several walking trails in this apartment community and will be starting the search for our first house in about 6 months. I can't wait!

Haha, spanish football team nowadays is great. They are young, very talented and they are not sport god-like players, but very close and nice to people and the media. I'm starting to get into stronger lips and softer eyes too! The first time in about a decade! The last few days I've done a simple wash of shadow and some winged liner with Pink Teaser on the lips (which for me is a lot brighter than I usually wear!). I'm going to pick up BB's Denim Ink gel liner today!

House hunting is so much fun, though it can be frustrating at times too! You may find a house you love but it needs a lot of work, or a home that's been maintained really well and the finishes are what you want, but the lay out isn't the most practical. We learned a lot from our first home, so we had a really solid idea of what we wanted. In the end, we decided on buying new again, but had to compromise and move a bit further out from the city. As long as you and DH are on the same page in terms of the fundamentals (size, layout, price point), it'll be a fun experience! DH and I suprisingly had a great strategy when it came time to choosing all of our finishes, if one of us didn't like something, it was immediately vetoed and we agreed on every last detail! Uh-oh, I'm so off topic!

) is more balanced I think - but I think I play my eyes up more than my lips usually. I think I'm talking from both sides of my mouth......anyway, I seldom play down my eyes (they're so small, if I don't play them up they'll disappear!

). But I love the idea of a sheer wash of color and lots of mascara. I've been using the Shiseido mascara base and I love it - I've recently ordered, but not yet received, a new Shu eyelash curler - this is something I rarely do, but I do like the result.

MissQQ, the babies I was referring to were my dogs

- they're my babies cuz my real ones are all grown up!!!

Nora, let us know how you like the liner - I've had my eye on that one for awhile - but I ordered the Chanel 'Marine' waterproof liner (because I so love the others I have) so that will have to work for me for a bit......

Cheryl -- do you tightline your eyes? I really like that if I'm doing a wash of color and mascara, but don't want a heavy liner. It was tricky for me to do at first, but I really love how tightlining can define the eyes

Can you believe I have never bought an eyelash curler?? I probably need to get the Shu one before they discontinue their line from the US.

I do - not always, but a lot. I love the effect! I first started doing it with Laura Mercier's powder liners....I must break them out as they're great for that!

I don't line my waterline often, as it's usually futile with my allergies.....but once in awhile I do - for dramatic effect!

Pretty much me too. i am going to try to get that soft eye look that they did on the models for the chanel taupe duo - we'll see.

So, today has been a winning day. First, I'm able to fit into my new one-size-smaller-than-I-was-previously-wearing skinny-fit jeans, then I get a new hairdryer for free, and finally, I arrived home from purchasing said new hair dryer to find gorgeous flowers on the doorstep from Vince for our anniversary! Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket!!
