Edit: Just saw they test on animals. That was killed quickly. I am disappointed, but also extremely relieved.

I hope these aren't as sheer as the Aqualumiere glosses, which feels great on lips but aren't pigmented and don't last long. I hope these last long! The swatches look beautiful. Can't wait to see all the swatches!

Here's the next shade reviewed, Exces:

The World Premiere Continues: Chanel Extrait de Gloss in Excès Café Makeup

I'm in love with this one...I may need a back-up of this shade (my first Chanel backup!). When applied on the lips I think the color kinda looks like strawberry jam. I am ALL over this one!!!

She mentioned in the initial overview that these are more pigmented than Glossimers, but obviously not as opaque as RAL's which to me sounds perfect for an "everyday lip" with no fuss.

I'm so excited for these!

That one is so pretty! I wish I could pull of reds -- but I can't, darn it!
I can't wait to see some of the pinks . . . the formula looks amazing!

That red is sheer enough I might feel comfortable wearing it. It gives the lips the look of just eating a cherry popsicle.

Good night ladies,

I went out with a friend tonight and just before meeting her, I stopped by the cosmetics store. None of the fall collections were there ... yet ... so I just trie out some RAL's and I couldn't resist getting Minq one!!

I just arrived home and tried it on the bare lips and it's just amazing! Tomorrow I'll try some "candy lips" look with some nude lipstick under the lacque

I am so excited ... cause I also fell in love with some glossimers but I was a bit late to meet my friend in the end so I couldn't spend more time swatching. I'll post some of my thoughts tomorrow hile wearing it

Thank you for all of the nice comments, everyone - I have to say that doing these looks with the Chanel duos (or the quads, etc) is really effortless!! The blendability is amazing.......I think tomorrow I will do the Misty/Soft duo.....

I cannot wait to see the new glosses....Michelle, I'm with you - I want to see the pinks! But I'm also loving the 'popsicle' one too!

Oh my, is it bad that I am killing my own lemmings for any make-up? I think it's just the no sugar thing, no good for the mind I tell ya! But oddly enough, I talked myself out of the duos for now, but I will probably indulge in one of those new glosses since they're supposed to be more pigmented than the glossimers.

It is amazing! It looks great on me even when I'm bare faced! I rarely ever want to repurchase any makeup item, and this is one of them.

Most times when I think mine are gone they're really just hanging out in the back of my head...waiting, planning, scheming they're attack. Then, when I don't have the budget room and really shouldn't/can't buy anything else for a while...they come back with a vengeance and demand a purchase on the spot.

Megan, the urge to repurchase is always the strongest when I just experience the new item and fall in love madly. But if I sit on it for a short while, I will be more rational and not have the impulse to buy the 2nd or 3rd piece of the item. I prefer to save for a different product to enjoy!

I am now officially in love with Ming

This morning I put some nude brownish lipstick from Maybelline (Choco cream from the Color sensational series) I had and that honestly, I haven't worn so much because brown nudes are not good for my pinky pale skin tone. On top of that i put Minq. No lip liner cause I was in a hurry. Then I went for Blushbaby by MAC on my cheeks, black mascara, black kohl in a think line on my upper lash line aaaaand ... the result was positive! Lips and cheeks were awesome together and lips remain almost all morning long, not sticky and very soft.

Now I am in trouble ... I need more like Ming and a rose/pink nude lipstick too. Any recommendations?
