Yes, I do wish that. But I used Amethyst to make up for the lack of violet - before I did that, the color was 'ok' - a little ho hum. Misty/Soft so far is my least favorite of the ones I got - I'm a bit disappointed in the lighter shade - I really had to build it up. I know it's supposed to be on the sheerer side, but it looks fairly dark in the pan. I had to liven it up a bit.

I'm hoping I like the Berry/Rose better.....so far the Taupe/Delicat and Khaki/Clair are my faves!

Cheryl -- that look is really pretty! Violent Diamond l/s looks great on you. I love it -- too bad they don't have it any more! I have a feeling I will be picking up some of the duos after seeing all of your FOTD's

I will give you my very brief opinion on celebrations: celebrate as much as you can with your loved one and as often as you can -- there is no time limit or age limit on showing the persons you love what you feel

my late husband and I used to have celebrations of the day we met, the first date (which was a different day ), our engagement, and our wedding -- and these celebrations helped to remind us of how lucky we are -- and now serve to remind me of how lucky I was to have had such a marvelous person in my life!

I'm thinking the Gris duo too - the Bleu one (the darker color) is too dark I think, and it's not shimmery enough to be the lighter blue color. Marine e/l may be in there too......cheeks, maybe Rose Temptation or Orchid Rose, or maybe a combination? The lips - I have no idea - maybe Rose Dentelle or Chintz? I would think they would be using the fall color palette.....

^^ Agree, I think they used the items from fall. Just my guesses, similar to yours.
Eyes: blue-tendre duo, gris or celadon liner?
cheeks: same as you

lips is tricky. it looks like lipstick and some liner with no gloss. chintz looks more peach on me and RD is brighter and more pink. the model's lips look really pale.

Love to hear your opinions on Berry/rose. I'm disappointed to hear about Misty too, so maybe I'll get Taupe/Delicat first instead. Thanks for sharing the FOTD! Gorgeous, I love the lips!

Weird that for you the light colour is the Misty Duo is not showing up. Maybe it is a skintone thing? On me it really is there and visible after the first swipe

I hope we get the collection soon, I am dreaming all the time about it. Last night I was Chanel shopping with ISas trench coat and it made me buy Cassis and Rose Temptation. Seriously, this has to stop.

I'm definitely getting Confidence, and either Insolence or Imaginaire (can't quite choose yet). My lips are too pigmented to wear Ming and have it look quite right, so Confidence is right up my alley.

When I catalogued my nail polishes I came across my Chanel Pulsion Le Vernis. It's a gorgeous chocolate cream, but it was discontinued awhile back. It occurred to me that they're releasing Pulsion with the holiday collection, only it's fuschia...hmmm, curious.

I thought that was what she was wearing. If I lightly swipe the darker blue in the duo with my finger, I can get that color. Its very very pretty.

The Nordies MA did that light swipe & then did the heavier swipe of the same color with it.

I bought the Gris/Subtil duo - it was really a toss-up between that and the blue one....I think I'm going to return the Misty/Soft - there is just something about the color that doesn't look that great on me. I can't describe it - I just don't love it like I love the others.....

Will give Gris and Berry/Rose a go tomorrow and maybe post a look.

On a different note, I did a look today with MAC's Fresh and Easy and In the Groove trios - it came out fabulously! I am loving those shadows too.......summer has been good for shadows and blushes!
